Title: Amber is not herself today - temp and not eating.
Post by: Bryony84 on July 26, 2009, 07:20:32 AM
Got up early today as Simons parents have planned a day out but I don't really want to go now. When I got up, Amber was sleeping in the en-suite and didn't get up when I came in which I thought was a bit odd. I picked her up and she seemed warmer than she should be and he eyes didn't seem to be reacting to light as quickly as they should, the light had been put on but they were still big and black. They got a little smaller eventually but seemed much slower than normal. She won't eat anything either, I've brought her cat food, beef and some tuna and all were sniffed and ignored. Typical that this would happen on a Sunday!

Luckily tonight she is much improved, not hiding from me and had some dinner which is a definite improvement. She's a bit quiet and feels a little warmer than normal but it looks like she'll be fine. I guess you never really know how well you know your cats until one isn't themself.
