Oh wow thats fab Sheryl! :wow:
Well done to your OH its amazing and very well made! :Luv:
-
Wow, that looks brilliant :wow: How do they get into it? Is it attached to the house?
-
that's fabulous, Sheryl - well done your OH
and your cats look in seventh heaven in there
I see you have the climbing trees from catplay stations - I have these too, the same as yours, one indoor and one outdoor, and I think they're easily the best value on the market, as well as blending in so well with wooden structures
-
They cant get in from the house yet Helen (thats OHs next project, although he doesnt know it yet ) so at the moment I put their walking jackets on and walk them to the run. Our bungalow is to the left of the run so I need to devise some sort of tunnel from the bedroom window to the run. The LH side as you look at the photos came from Bransbury Bunnies but wasnt big enough when the fur family grew so OH built & attached the RH side there are 2 doors (one on the LH side and a large one in the middle) and a sleeping compartment either end. It is 28' in length and it was worth every penny we spent.
The climbers from catplay stations are brilliant Trigger and fantastic value for money.

28 foot long :omg:
Is your bungalow the one with the ariel attached to the chimney? If so what is the building directly behind the run then - could that be used as an access point in any way?
-
No Helen, that is my neighbours bungalow and the building directly behind the run is her garage. You cant see our bungalow in the photos, in the top photo of the run where the trellis is up the side of the run our bunglaow is about 6' back from there - when it stops raining I will take a photo to show you and you might be able to give me some ideas re the tunnel - it would be great to just be able to leave the window open when I am home so they can go in and out of the run when they want to.
-
I did see something on the internet once, might even have been Purrs, which was like a steel cage tunnel that was attached to the house and led to the cat run. Will try and find it but like looking for a needle in a haystack!
-
The australian cat enclosure site has pics of different tunnels etc i dont have it bookmarked anywhere obvious but someone must know the one i mean :innocent:
Looks fab sheryl :wow:
