Bond is going in for a nice sleep with the vet tomorrow afternoon and I will pick him up on Sunday (shhh, I haven't told him the real reason, lets just say there will be less of him on Sunday :shify:) and he had a bit of a cough the other night so will get that checked out, he seems to just like sneezing into my hair at the moment
The little man has a lumpy tail, felt it the other night when he finally deigned me worthy of a proper stroke voluntarily. Doesn't seem painful or bothersome and my first instinct is that maybe he damaged it while a stray and it just healed funny but we'll find out tomorrow hopefully.
So now I have to formulate a plan to get them into the carriers without spending the morning playing cat and mouse, them being the mouse :evillaugh:

vibes for the boys

1 hour till departure and I have moved the carriers out of the spare room and left them in the lounge for them to investigate, so far so good, going in willingly. i have also just fed them enough to take the moaning away! So hopefully I can use food as a bribe too :shify:

Well, the boys were a dream. Bond had come for a cuddle so I just picked him up popped him in. The little man, henceforth known as Dougal, happily wandered in after a Whiskas Temptation. They were both impeccably behaved with the very nice lady vet.
Dougal has been given the all clear, his tail, as I suspected, is just lumpy from an old injury, phew!
Bond is staying overnight for his spay and he also has a bit of a sniffle and some feline acne, just a little patch next to his mouth, so I will be given stuff for that when I go back to get him.
While at the vet I met a lovely little kitten who had been abandoned in the carpark, stinking of smoke but happy enough. She's a gorgeous little think, full tabby with gingery bits :Luv: The nurse was also saying they are going to PTS a blind cat that was found and brought into them as no-one has come forward for it. I nearly offered to take it there and then :'( Poor thing.
But overall a quick and painless visit.
Little miss grumpy face Milo, I think, may be missing Bond just quietly :shify: She's been quite unsettled all day pawing at the back door and wandering round whinging for no apparent reason. Not that she'll ever admit it mind :evillaugh: Dougal is enjoying a bit of peace and has just been for a lovely cuddle :Luv:

Glad all went well :)
That poor blind cat!! why are they pts? that's just awful - I would be annoyed if my vet had told me that >:(

Bond is back, none the worse for wear and feeling no ill effects from his anaesthetic. Unfortunately :evillaugh: He wanted more attention and reassurance than usual when he first got back but is now his normal self. He's not licking too much and if I can catch his eye when he does he promptly stops :Luv2: Clever brave boy :Luv:
