I have only chosen to keep 2 out of 80 cats, although the rescue made me keep one more, I wouldnt have kept her, and would have loved to rehome her to prove that 17 wasn't too old to rehome.

I think I may end up as one for the little man, despite him still having no name, he's becoming such an unusual little character and is tugging on my heart strings. Doesn't help that he is the most beautiful cat :innocent:

Im a failure twice over :-:
And im sure if it wasn for my hubby i would fail alot
My hubby is a failed "i dont like cats" person. As he now calls my first two to cats his little ladies and searched for ages for a new pink fluffly cat bed for them and when he finally bought one still wasnt happy as it didnt have diamonds on it
Then he fell for Lollie my foster mum and also now has a cat of his one a foster kitten he called Jedi :-[i have nothing to do with that name!

I do have some covcat cats that I call my own but wouldn't say it has been through choice so far.
ginger is left now. His brother was RTA, and his sister died in January - no one ever came to view them and i let them out from the restrictions of the garden pen and they stayed.....
Henry who came back three times and now lives in the garden pen with free access to do as he wishes - which is howl outside the house most of the time (especially at 6 in the morning) and he has just started to terrorize my lot. >:(
oh, i was forgetting titch so yes, I am a failed fosterer....... :-[
and i am partial to one of the kittens who is so like Ids (who died jan) in her behaviour....... so that's a ;'watch this space'
then of course there are the ones that got a way like pretty polly who was soooo close to staying but went to the lady who lives at the back of me - I still haven't seen her in my garden but i keep trying.

NOT a failed fosterer ... but a failed transporter ;) I was supposed to be transporting Rossi from point A to point C but we stopped off at point B (my house) and after an eventful weekend following madame's escaped from her carrier and my mini nervous breakdown until I got her back - she never made it to point C and ended up a permanant resident.
I'd just like to point out she was going to go to a rescue to be rehomed so I signed the papers, handed over an adoption fee and kept her. I wasn't transporting her to another family :-:

I kept Gizmo when I was suposed to be fostering him for a few days. But in my own defence we lost one of my other fosterers who had gone to her new home. So I was feeling the whole not letting go thing.
I still can't foster right now, maybe one day but I can't let go I've lost too much in the past decade and I refuse to lose anything else ;)
