B*ll*cks! My Mum had/has MRSA (it refuses to go away!) and it was the doctor who refused to wash his hands or wear gloves that is the culprit , not the cat! >:( >:(

You are far more likely to get an infection from a human bite than a cat bite due to all the nasty bugs that occur naturally between our teeth

I know someone whose Mum got MRSA in hospital - nowhere near her two dogs and two cats. That theory is right out the window as far as I'm concerned.

I'll never forget my aunt contracting E.Coli when she was in hospital. The doctors had botched the operation when they removed her appendix and hadn't stitched her up properly. Infection set in because her stitches were leeking :sick: and then they had the audacity to accuse my Nan of having caused the infection because she kept a cat in house, so she must be "dirty"!
Needless to say my Nan exploded! Funnily enough, the doctors didn't repeat their accusation........ :evillaugh:
