Title: Quinn 1 year later

Today a year ago my father in law picked me up and took me to their vets, Quinn had disapeared 7 weeks before and after extensive searches of house it was decided that she had escaped via the front door. She was found (she had been meowing loudly) on the 18th of June under the kitchen counters and taken to the vets.

However the vet felt that she would never recover mentally and I felt I needed to see with my own eyes if the vet was right.

The vet was correct and I'll never forget the completely gone look in Quinn's eyes, it was time to let her go.

She was put to sleep with me and my father in law there for her. She was the first animal I'd ever been there for at the vets for this and I had to beg to be there.

She wasn't one to be touched but she was a sweet cat her ashes sit next to Little Girls and my Moms and hopefully both will be looking after her. We miss her still and will be visiting her sister Harley next weekend.

I remember Quinn Sabrina...what a sad, sad thing happened!  :(

Thanks guys.

It's just a horrible thing to know you couldn't save one, no matter how hard you tried.

We tore that house a part a few times and we had stayed the night a few weeks later and I still couldn't find anything. I've taken my cats over and never had any problems.

All we could come up in the end was she did get out but had found a way back in from the outside of the house but who knows.

I remember too and the first anniversary is the hardest one  :hug:

I am sure she is playing hard on the Bridge now and is just fine again.

I remember her going missing, i can't believe it has been a year already though. RIP little one.
