I have taken Bungly to the vets tonight as i have noticed her tummy getting bigger and hard over the last couple of weeks .
Its bad news - the vet thinks its likely its a tumour and her tummy is filled with fluid .
She doesn''t appear to be ill in herself , eating, drinking as normal and going outside in the fresh air.
He is going to open her up and see whats going on Monday ( couldn''t get her in any earlier).
I feel so sick with worry -she is only around 9 years old .
She had a tumour in her ear removed before i had her -could this be a reoccurance somewhere else now ?
I ask about FIP , but its not been ruled out altogether .
I am in a state of shock and feel physically sick - also i have my sister here for 2 weeks too and don''t feel like speaking much to anyone .
Please send lots of healing vibes for poor little Bungly for Monday -thanks.

I hope Bungly is ok, horrible having to wait till Monday to find out. Seems like a good sign that she is eating, drinking ok and acting normally though.
-
Thanks everyone -we have been having big cuddles tonight and she has had some chicken ( nothing at all wrong with her appetite ).
Monday is going to seem forever and it will be difficult with the no feeding after 6pm as well with the other 4 wanting food -i will feel awful having to seperate her from them while they have food and she doesn''t - mine tend to be fed when they want it really and biscuits are usually down all night -so wont be able to do that Sunday night for once either -the others will be wondering whats going on !!
Monday i will be pacing all day and looking at the phone , waiting till i can get to pick her up and know what we are dealing with .
Whatever it is and costs will be met somehow - he did estimate around £250 for all tests , depending on what he finds .
-

Any news? Hope it's ok
-
Sorry for the late update .
I took Bungly in and fetched her home tonight.
The vet is still not sure what it is and has sent some fluid and other stuff off and should hopefully have the results Wednesday .
The two main things he thinks it is are not good - FIP - although after draining the fluid ( 1 and a half litres of it  ) he said it was straw coloured ,but not thick and sticky as it should be - the other thing is there are abnormal cells on the Liver -not a great amount , but they are there , which means its quite possibly Liver cancer .
She is still very dozy from the anasethtic and also i had to ring the vet back up after getting home as she is leaking fluid -he said this is normal and forgot to tell me - so there are little damp droplets every where she walks and she is wondering about a lot and unsettled at the moment .
I am going to put the fire on in a minute and see if she settles near there later.
All in all its not a good prognosis - but i hopefully will know more on Wednesday .
I can''t believe how this has all come on so quickly :'(
He did say he had checked her heart , kidneys and loads of other blood tests and stuff and apart from the fluid and the few abnormal cells , she is a healthy cat !?
-
Poor Bungly, I will keep hoping for good news for her
-
Sorry to hear this, very worrying for you  and more waiting for the results of the fluid. Hope the news isnt bad and its something that can be treated.
-
Sending   for you and Bungly, its worrying time for you and i hope the news isnt bad on Wednesday.
-
Stronger vibes being sent to Bungly and yourself~~~~~~Hope the results are good! :Luv:

-
Fingers crossed the test shows something positive.
-
Love, huggles and positive vibes for Bungly, keeping fingers and toes crossed for a good out come on Wednesdy
-
just sending my love and a big  to you and Bungly
-
Bungly is only (as far as i know /was told ) 9 years old- i got her at supposedly 5 years old.
She is a lot better in herself today regarding the "leaking " - her tummy looks very strange what i can see of it -all wrinkly folds where the skin has been stretched because of the fluid .
She isn''t /doesn''t appear to be in any pain and is eating and drinking as normal .
The results are not going to be good as its either FIP or Liver cancer -its just waiting to see which .
Can''t seem to concentrate on anything myself , also keep thinking i should have took her sooner and the usual things.
She has eaten well this morning and now having another snooze at the moment .
Thanks everyone .
-

Theres normally indications on bloodwork if its fip, i hope it isnt :wish:
-
Sorry I've only just seen this sweetie, what a worry
Hopefully you won't have to wait too long for the results, at least you will then know what you are dealing with
Sending lots of   for you and tons of vibes for Bungly, poor baby xxxx
-
Her bloods were normal and so were all the other tests the vet himself did - the only thing that looked abnormal was her liver - will have to wait till tomorrow for the rest of the results.
-
Keeping fingers crossed for her
-
Best of luck for tomorrow
-
Sending best of hopeful vibes to Bungly but so glad to hear she is not uncomfortable. Must be such an awful worry
-
Fingers crossed your vet is wrong with his diagnosis, my vet suspected FIP cos of Tig's blood results, so if her bloods are normal apart from liver, hopefully it wont be that. Also, if there aren't a lot of abnormal liver cells, hopefully that means it isn't too serious, and the fact she is still eating is good. Liver issues can cause a fluid build up, so that isn't necessarily from FIP.
-
all the best for tomorrow
-
Wishing Bungly all the best
-
Well - after all this waiting the results aren''t back yet !!!
Bungly is eating well, been playing with leaves outside and has cleaned herself up and seems really happy -hard to believe she has this wrong with her .
Will post tomorrow as i should definately have heard by then .
To add a good news to this thread- i have won a competition for a 2 night stay in London at a posh Hotel in Mayfair with breakfast and evening meal and a bottle of wine each night for myself and a partner !? ( not got one !) also £250 spending money and 6 bottles of Black Tower wine . It can be taken up to November 2009 .
That was a very nice suprise and the biggest thing i have ever won - only thing is i keep wondering if i can go as i have never left the cats more than 1 night and how Bungly will be at the time !? I do have someone who lives across the road who loves the cats and will happi;ly feed and do trays for me .Its just Smartie has to have his tablets every day as well .
-
It's what I'm having to learn as well - you treat the cat, not just what the bloods (etc) say, but that sounds like she is feeling well. Imho cats don't bother cleaning themselves when they are feeling grot so let's hope for the best when the results come back and for Bungly's future
You must take up your mini-break in London! I'm sure you can find someone (if not the neighbour, who sounds great) who can give Smartie and pill and make sure you can go away and relax and enjoy yourself- congrats on winning!
-
Lots of good wishes for Bungly
-
Lots of good wishes for Bungly
Ditto! :Luv:
-
Fingers crossed for good results today hun
And congrats on your prize, that sounds lovely you lucky thing :wow: :wow: You must definitely go
-
Did you get the results yesterday for Bungly, i 2nd what everyone says you really must take the prize and congrats
-
Glad to hear Bungly seems well on herself :) and lovely news about the prize - well done!
-
well done you - can you speak to your vet about Smartie? one of the nurses might be willing to pop by
-
Still no results ?! The vet is chasing them up today .
-
How frustrating...I hope you have has some good news by now! :Luv:
-
Well the vets spoke to me today and ask me to take Bungly down and have a talk and check her over.
The test results were inconclusive -but he had another feel of her and she has a large mass in her liver .
They cannot do chemo or operate . He has given her durectics (spelling!?) and steroids to try and stop growth -but in all honesty the outlook is bad .
I don''t know how long she has but she is not likely to see this summer/autumn out .
I am absolutely gutted and still in shock -i really thought he could do something even though deep down he couldn''t .
I am just taking each day with her and she how she goes .
All i can think about is how as she got this !?
-
Im so sorry to hear that its not better news im sure you have done all you can for Bungly, so just take each day as it comes and treasure each moment with her, sometimes they can surprise us but whatever im sure she has loved you as much as you love her,and my thoughts and prays are with you both
-
Oh no I'm so sorry the news is not good :( As you say you need to take one day at a time and treasure every moment with her (also remember to take as many pics of her as you can)
-
So very sorry to hear what the vet said. Take every day one at a time and give her all of your love
If Bungly is on duritics please ensure that she keeps drinking, lots of strokes to her from me
-
:( oh dear, so sorry to hear this  to you and Bungly
-
Oh no , i am so sorry :(
Sending you and Bungly lots of  .
-
lots of  for you and Bungly, and lots of hope that she will stay free of pain, and that you will be able to spend good times with her
-
I am so sorry to hear this.
 to you and Bungly.
Treasure the time you have and as Sam says. lots of pics.
Take care.
-
Sorry to hear the news isn't good :( As others have said treasure the time you have together
-
So sorry to hear about Bungly, wish I could add more but as others say you can only take one day at a time. Hope she stays free of pain.

-
I am sorry to hear this - is there no way they can biopsy it to see exactly what it is, in case it isn't as serious as they think?
-
Aw hun, I'm so sorry to hear this
As everyone else has already said, treasure every day you have together xxxx
-
So very sorry Bungly - my little Persian Amber had the same thing. - Thinking of you
As others have said just cherish every minute with her xxx
-
I'm so sorry to hear this. I know you'll make the most of every moment with Bungly  xxx
-
Sorry to hear about Bungly. Is it not possible to do further investigations as Des mentioned? Seeing as the bloods were inconclusive and I'm presuming they havent done x-rays or scans? They seem to be relying just on physical examination which can't give a conclusive diagnosis I wouldnt have thought.
-
Sorry it isnt better news
If the fluid goes then you have the option of asking for an ultrasound to be done, they are not invasive in anyway and dont need sedation to do it.
If the liver was abnormal when the vet opened her up and a mass can now be felt i dont think id opt for a liver biopsy, i went through one with milly not long ago as there was no other diagnostic options to go for, its quite a big op and has its risks.
-
I'm sorry to hear your news   to you and Bungly
-
 to you and to Bungly Cat
-
Hi everyone,
Yes they have done X-rays and he said the liver biopsy was too risky and intrusive .and i didn''t want to put her through that and lose her quicker .
The liver did not look right and there were abnormal cells on it
She has only been drained , not any surgery , but has had loads of tests with blood, fluids etc.., but he can feel the mass inside her.
-
What rubbish news, it's so hard to take in, isn't it?
Lots of hugs
-
Big hugs for you both from us all here! :grouphug:
-
A massive  from all of us as well xxxx
-
So sorry to hear about Bungly :(
-
Sorry it isn't good news :(
-

-
I am sorry hunnie
-
I'm so sorry. I hope you can have as long as possible of good quality loving life with Bungly, sometimes it can be longer than you first think
-
Just a quick update to say Bungly is still fine , eating well and playing in the garden .
She is on the duiretics and 5mg steroids at present and seems quite happy -but weeing a fair bit !
-
Glad she seems to be doing OK
-
Glad she's OK  ;D
-
Good news x
-
Im glad to hear Bungly is doing okay :Luv: long may it continue
-
Glad she seems happy, and the weeing is normal, even if she was just on steroids she would wee more, but with dieuretics as well, it will be worse. Just make sure she doesn't get dehydrated.
-
good for Bungly and good for you. Hope today's another good one
-

Issey is on 5mg of steroids each day too

Thankyou -i will do that soon.
How is Issey doing ?
When they seem to be okay and doing normal things like playing and eating its really hard to take in that they have this awful disease . Still doesn''t seem to have sunken in yet , keep thinking these pills are a miracle cure when i know deep down they aren''t :(
-
Just a quick update to say Bungly is still fine , eating well and playing in the garden .
She is on the duiretics and 5mg steroids at present and seems quite happy -but weeing a fair bit !
Glad she's doing well. Sam wees a lot on the diurectics too. I add extra liquid to his meals to make sure he's not dehydrated.
-
big cuddle for Bungly  Swampy's on 7.5mg every 48 hours and it def makes him wee more. It's a masker drug but if it helps them enjoy their lives and feel so much better, that's nothing but good. Hope Bungly approves of the lovely weather and has been enjoying the sun.
-
Just had a look at Bunglys diurectics tablets and it looks like 20mg per day .
This afternoon i sat in a chair in the kitchen and Bungly came in, jumped on the scratching post at the side of me , onto the dresser at full pace , slid along it almost taking all the pots with her , jumped down and ran outside and down the garden as if someone was after her -you wouldn''t think there was anything wrong with her !!
They have all been a bit odd like that today - Smartie has had his paw up in the air at all the others and patting them as they go past - Fi Fi shot down the garden like a bullet out a gun , sat in the long grass for 10 mins and then ran like mad back into the house again twice !
Me thinks they have all been in the catnip pots outside
-
Glad to hear that happy update :)
-
Aww! Sounding like they are all enjoying the weather! Big head rubs for Bungly! :Luv:
-
dont think it ever really sinks in
I have days where I cry all the time but then other days when I look at Issey and cant believe she is actually dieing.
Spose we just have to take each day at a time and while they are well and enjoying life we have to make the most of it.
I am glad we have summer too....at least they get to spend time outside in the warm sunshine....so glad its not winter! (but then i get sad again as i know this will be her last summer)
Give Bungly a huge kiss from Me......
Sending You a
-
Glad to hear that Bungly is doing well :)
-
could we have a nice photo of Bungly please? hope she is well today. Hope all the sick kitties are having a lovely relax and snooze in the sun.

-
Bungly what a babe you are! :blow kiss:
-
Just wondered if anyone knew anything about apricot kernels and cancer - someone said they can be used to try and help combat it - i ask the vet and a couple of other people but they all seemed to think i am clutching at straws !
I have measured Bunglys tum on Friday and then going to do it tomorrow to check to see if the fluid id starting to fill up again . They have said they can drain again if this happens -but it was only done 3-4 weeks ago - so hoping its not .
-
I have heard but not sure how benefitial they would be, I suppose you could think to yourself anything is worth a try if it natural and won't make you feel worse. Hope that Bungly's tum is ok
-
I don't blame you for clutching at straws if one of them can offer a lifeline. I had never heard of it but there is quite a lot of info including this warning from the BBC that the seeds also contain cyanide and can kill. Julian Graves stopped selling them. Cancer Research UK said if it worked, they would be delighted.

Bungly has been for her check up today and the vet is quite pleased as she hasn''t filled up too much with fluid .
She is staying on the tablets ,but cutting down the duiretics -(spelling) to half a day now and then going back in a month to see how she is then.
He did say her liver feels bigger though !

-

Bungly seems to be doing quite well - she has got some fluid in her again , but not enough to drain just yet.
I mentioned the tablets that begin with L ( cant remember what they are ) and he said we can give them a try although they are more used in Lymphoma -but no harm in giving them a go .
He said that to take them you have to double up on what she is taking - that seems very high dosages though - 10mg ( 2 x 5 ) Prednisolne (sp!) and the water ones beginning with F -20mg per day and the cancer ones 1 per 5 days . So if i give one tomorrow is it then on the 5th day -so Tuesday and then Sunday ?
Had a busy few days myself as had to go to Peterborough hospital on Friday for a MRI scan on my back , then Saturday i felt lousy and had a migraine that left me laying in bed all day and couldn''t do anything at all as everything i tried made my head hurt worse.
Sunday my arm started throbbing ( i have a tendency to lean on my elbow whilst on the computer and a bit of skin had come off and there was one tiny spot of blood -this was a week ago ) - last night it was agony , so had to go to the docs today as my elbow is 3 times the size it should be , red hot and bright red -so i got antibiotics - came home , soterd out the cats, hoovered ,had a bath , went to the vets and got home at 8 , just eaten and came on here to update! Still don''t feel that well and my arm is still throbbing !
I came out of the vets with 4 lots of tablets -3 for Bungly and Smarties asthma ones also 3 tins of I/D - it looks like a chemist in my kitchen !!! I have another 5 different ones for myself as well as these antibiotics.
A lady who was in the vets had a cat with what she thought had a absess over the week-end , think there must have been something else going on as his breathing sounded bad -she came out without him and in tears - which set me off too :(
-
:ots of love to Bungly and sorry to hear about your arm
I hope the lady in tears was just because the cat had to stay in :wish:
-
No, Gill, unfortunately her husband came out first and said there was nothing they could do for him - i couldn''t say anything to her when she came out except "sorry " -i didn''t know them , but we had spoke whilst in the queue.

Issey is on those Chemo tablets as she has Lymphoma but one every 3 days (wonder if thats because her cancer is more advanced)
She also has Preds one 5mg a day (she was on 2x5mg with the other chemo she was on)
Hope these tablets slow things down for Bungly
-
Fingers crossed the new meds work and you feel better soon
-
hope you and bungly are doing ok
-
Sending you   and lots of good vibes for Bungly.
Yes if you give the chemo tablet today then the 5th day is on sunday, please make sure you wear gloves when using the chemo tab and keep it in the fridge. x
-
Positive vibes being sentr to you both~~~~~Hope all will be okay! :Luv:
-
So glad that Bungly seems to be ok and hope your arm improves soon
-
Bungly has been back for her check up tonight .
The fluid doesn''t seem to be getting worse-but the liver seems to be getting bigger and he said he can feel the lump now as her sides are sticking out .
She is fine in herself at present though -but fed-up of all the tablets ! :(
-
Well, hugs for now and I'm glad Bungly is happy in herself
-
Pleased that Bungly is holding her own
-
Glad that Bungly is doing okay... Sad for her as the tablets upset her! :Luv:
-
Glad that the vet is quite promising, but a shame she is fed up of being medicated.
-
Quick update on Bungly- she is still doing well , but her tummy has got big again - she goes back in 2 weeks unless i feel i need to go before - not sure whether its fluid again (she is on water tablets though ) or the tumour is growing -she sticks out from the sides and looks unbalanced :'( :'(
I am trying really hard not to think about this and focusing on the fact she is playing ( she loves the wind and was chasing leaves round the garden yesterday ) eating , drinking and seemingly okay in herself .
-
Glad that Bungly is still having a good time, hope the tummy bulge can be sorted for her! :Luv:
-
Hope that Bungly will be ok
-
At least she is enjoying life - I hope she stays stable till you see the vet in two weeks.
-
and focusing on the fact she is playing ( she loves the wind and was chasing leaves round the garden yesterday ) eating , drinking and seemingly okay in herself .
Thats the important bit ....and I'm so pleased to read it, such a clever girl Bungly
Sending Bungly lots of love from Me and Issey xxxxx
-
Couldn't agree more, she sounds just fine in herself, and that's the important thing  xxx

Bungly is off to the vets tomorrow for her check up - she has definately got bigger - so will see what she weighs and if its fluid or not.
She is fine in herself, still eating and drinking and jumping up to sleep on top of the settee and look down on me .
She seems to have been better with the tablets the last few days -think she has realised she has to take them ,no matter what.
-
Lots of luck tomorrow
-
Positive vibes for Bungly's vet visit tomorrow~~~~~Best of luck! :Luv:
-
I am so glad to hear that Bungly is doing well .....clever girl
Hope the vet visit goes well
You and Bungly are always in my thoughts xx
-
Best of luck for Bungly's visit  :Luv:
-
Bungly is back and her fluid in her body is up , so she has to double up on the water tablets - poor Bungly -thats 4 tablets per day and 5 every 5th .
Apart from that she is doing okay - still eating , drinking and playing - she is back again next Monday to be weighed and see if she is getting rid of some of the fluid -weight is up this time from last time by quite a bit .
-
Pleased that Bungly can be treated and hope that she continues being her happy little self
-
Fingers crossed that the extra tabs will bring her body fluid down....Yep thats a lot of pilling a day the poor love!
-
hope that the tablets help with the fluid but glad she seems otherwise well
-
Fingers crossed the meds work
-
Aw yes, lots of pills, but hopefully they will all help  :Luv:
-
Nice to hear the precious girl is doing ok xxx
-
Glad she's doing well and hope the tablets will help with the fluid.
-
Hi,
Hope Bungly is continuing to do well, as you know she is very close to my heart
Give her a huge kiss from Me and tell her she gotta keep fighting for Me.... and Issey
Sending you both lots of love xxx
-
Thanks Michelle - She is back at the vets again tomorrow -to be weighed i think .
-
Good luck at the vets tomorrow for darling Bungly!
-
Best of luck at vets today xx
-
Good luck for today's vet visit hun  xx
-
Good luck for today xx
-
Good luck for todays vet visit xxx
-
Hope it went OK
-
Thanks everyone -got back about 8 finished off some other stuff and have just eaten !
Bungly has lost a bit of fluid but not much -he now wants to try just 1 steroid and stay with the 2 duiretics (sp) and the Lecugen (sp) every 5th day as before and then we are back again for a weigh in next Monday .
He used some small scales this time and she just sat on them good as gold and never moved :Luv2: :Luv2:
She is still eating and playing as normal .
-
Pleased Bungly is still happy and having a good life
-
Glad the visit went okay and now the meds have been reduced, much better for her methinks!
-
Glad it is quite a promising visit
-
Glad to hear that Bungly is doing well :)
-
Sounds like a good visit, and as long as Bungly is happy and enjoying life, well that's the absolute main thing :) :Luv2:
-
good for Bungly and for you
-
Bungly has been very quiet the last 2 days and not eaten much at all - i am assuming this is because she is now only on 1 steroid (5mg) instead of 2 at the moment .
She is going back on Monday - but i am getting worried today as she seems a bit down and miserable :(
-
Is there anything you can tempt her with that she might nibble on?
-
She wouldn''t have any chicken last night - she doesn''t like fish of any sort -usually she eats her own and also what Winston leaves too ( at least half of his sachet every time !)
Will try again and see what else i can find for her .
-
It most probably is due to the drop in steroids....I would try tempting her too! ;)
Best wishes for Monday at the vets!
-
I answered on Swampys thread to say that the drop in steroids is probably what is making her feel so crapy.
I personally would put her steroids back up and then tell your vet what you have done, sometimes WE know what is best for them xx
-

Agree with you there Michelle, the vet would only probably say to do this on Monday and as she has just had the dose dropped I cant see any harm in you upping them again! ;)
-
I think the way is to make her stay feeling and acting as well as she can, and no point messing around with reduced steroids any more......some times vets just dont get it!
-
I have given her 1 1/2 today and all she has done is sleep in the garden - she woke me up at 6 am (didn''t go to bed till 3am ) crying outside the bedroom door -which was open anyway . I got out and gave her a fuss and cuddle and she came to bed and slept on the pillow.
She still hasn''t eaten anything but has been to the food and sniffed it - i think i will give her the extra 1/2 and go back to 2 tomorrow again.
She also has a very snotty nose and have wiped it a dozen times today - she is not having a good day today -this has been the worse so far :(.
She has now gone to sleep in her heated bed .
-
Have you tried warming some food up for her....that snotty nose is probably messing with her eating also! ;)
-
Poor Bungly, maybe she's lost her sense of smell with being sniffly I find raising the eating dish can help if they find it hard to breath
-
- she is not having a good day today -this has been the worse so far :(.
Now come on Bungly, You get a good nights sleep coz you need your strength to get better sweetheart.
xxx
Hopefully putting her steroids back up will make her feel better.
Sending you lots of love, I know what you are going through xxx
-
Hope Bungly has a good night
-
I have given her the other 1/2 steroid tablet in the hope it makes her eat later or tomorrow .
I have given her some of Winstons cod Loin , warmed 3 different types of food up and she hasn''t touched anything at all .
She is sitting on the sofa arm with me though - i hope these will kick start her again - i hate to think how she would be if he hadn''t put her on them :'(
I will try raising her food up when i go downstairs and see if that will help ( i have a proper one i had made ).
-
Hope the steroids help her but they prob wont kick in until tomorrow. Hope she starts eating again cos she needs to eat
-
Hope that Bungly manages to eat something today
-
How is Bungly doing today ? xx
-
Bungly is still not eating as yet - hoping the steroids will kick in tonight , i put them back up to 2 last night and will carry on at that and see what the vet says tomorrow .
I am really worried and have tried her with a few things and warmed some up , but she just walks away :(
-
Is she still drinking?
-
Fingers crossed the meds kick in quick - if she is snotty, it might be worth putting her in the bathroom with a hot shower to get some steam build up, and maybe burn some eucalptus oil too?
-
Hope she is eating by now? Would she sit in the bathroom while you steam it up? Steroids are great at increasing appetite but they can also make them snottier as they depress the immune system too. I was given some bisolvon too once to use for 5 days only - it dissolves the mucus but is really hard to divide up and give. Bungly may not be eating because she's feeling sick from swallowing snotty muck.
how about sardines in tomato sauce? it stinks terrible. She may just eat the tomato but better than nothing. good luck
-
Big loves and get well vibes for Bungley - come on little one, eat something xxx
Big  Gill, I know how worried you must be about Bungley but take care of yourself Hun x
-
I have been wiping Bunglys nose with moist cotton wool on and off today - i have not given her any of the duiretics (sp) at all today and think i am going to leave them till tomorrow. She has had 2 steroids .
She has slept most of the day in her heated bed , but has now had 2-3 mouthfuls of cat food and 3 tiny pieces of my pork chop (she wouldn't eat any more of it ).
She is still drinking okay .
I think the steroids are starting to help .
I had a bath earlier as i have also been out painting the garden fence a bit too - otherwise i would have took her in with me.
At least she has seemed a little interested in food tonight - hope thats a good sign.
I am going to put the fire on in a minute and watch x factor - she may come down then and sit with me and i will offer her some more food ( its down all the time , but she might eat if i sit and hold the bowl for her ).
Will update later .
-
Pleased she has eaten something and looks like the steroids are kicking in again
-
She still has only had about 3-4 mouthfuls of food , hoping she will pick up and eat tomorrow- back at the vets tomorrow night .
-
A little bit of something is better than a lot of nothing....sounds as if the steroids are starting to kick in! :wow:
Best wishes for the vets tonight!
-
Glad she has had a little food
-
Glad she has eaten something and good luck for tonight.
-
Even a small amount of food is better than no food hun  good luck for later xx
-
Glad she has eaten something, as the others have said.....something is better than nothing.
Good luck with the vets tonight
Give Bungly a kiss from Me
-
Been to Asda and bought her some ham this morning -she has had about 4 very small pieces - it seems like she wants to eat but i think she is bunged up .
I keep clearing her nose for her ( she has such very tiny nostrils though )and tried to get into the vets this afternoon , but no joy till tonight, the vet i always see is still operating and i only want to see him as he has seen her from the start.
-
Lots of good wishes for tonight and remeber to tell him that you dont want to mess around with meds unless they are making her worse, cos its pallative care for her and she needs to be a happy cat
-
I used to put a tiny drop of Olbas oil on a tissue under a cushion near Schui (advised by vet) when he was bunged up and it seemed to help. Good luck at the vets xx
-
Bungly has been to the vets - she has had a long lasting steroid injection ( meaning no more tablets at the moment which she will be pleased about ) also a antibiotic Baytril injection for her snotty nose and her temperature was slightly up .
He said there isn''t any fluid now its just the tumour getting bigger :'(
Also i am going back tomorrow and wednesday for 2 more baytril injections.
He said she has done extremely well so far considering the size of the tumour.
I went earlier as l wanted to get there before Wilkinsons shut as i remembered they do gourmet perle in there and Bungly used to love that .
Anyway as soon as we got back she sat near the food and i opened the gourmet and she has eaten some ( and licked all the gravy !), she also had 3 small pieces of my sausages and some more whiskers and a bit of Felix - so looks like her appetite is returning .
Tomorrow i am hoping she will eat more and feel beter after the next injection - she doesn''t need any more duiretics either at the moment.
Thanks everyone .
-
So pleased that she is eating again
-
Hope the meds work fast on her nose, so glad that food is back in her favour too!
-
I am glad that you have found something she will eat.
-
Really pleased she has enjoyed some food ;D
-
Great that she's wanting to eat again  :wow:
-
Really glad she is eating - well done clever girl.
I found the steroid injections worked better than the tablets......Issey was having Dexafort.
Could you learn to give Bungly them ? It would be easier than having to keep taking her back (they only last a couple of days, a few at most).
Sorry to hear the tumour is getting bigger
but she is such a fighter xxx
-
Bungly has been crying for food this afternoon , she has gone off the whiskers now and the biscuits !but has eaten another 1/2 sachet Gourmet perle - will have to get some more tonight from Morrisons as got to go in 30mins to the vet.
I only got a couple in case she wouldn''t eat it .
Her nose is a lot better though ,so another 2 days of these and she should be okay as far as the nose goes.
I will see what he says about the injections Michelle -he said the one he gave last night should last a week !

-
Just popping in to say I think the pair of you are doing marvelously! (SP)
-
So pleased that little Bungle is eating again - you must be so relieved
-
Well the vet is very pleased she is so much better - another visit tomorrow anyway .
I nipped into Morrisons and got another 1/2 dozen of the gourmet perle ( she wont eat anything else at the moment ) also i bought another tiny gourmet tin to try her for a change .
She is currently eating again ;D and then going to lie in front of the fire - she did wake me up at 6am again this morning yelling !- i shouted her and she came and got on the pillow and was fine after that - the door was already open though as they all have the run of the house and no door is ever closed.
I am totally skint now and also no petrol -its on red , so have to juggle to put £10 worth in to get to and from the vets tomorrow.
It only cost me £23 on Monday for visit and 2 injections and i was told to pay tomorrow for tonights and tomorrows injections, which is very reasonable.
-
:) so pleased Bungly is eating again and enjoying her Gourmet Perle
-
:) so pleased Bungly is eating again and enjoying her Gourmet Perle
Me too! :wow:
Glad the vet is also pleased with her! ;)
-
We are off again in a hour -but this morning she ate some whiskers and when i came back 4 hours later -she was hungry and has just eaten the whole sachet in one go !
I better get stocked up again tonight if she is going to go through them that quick !!!! All good though ;D
-
Glad the upping of the steriods has done her good.....She sounds ravenous...ROAR! :evillaugh:
-
WTG Bungly, the Gourmet Girl  :wow:
-
Great news :)
Gourmet Perle is 25% off in Sainsbury's right now ;)
It was 3 boxes for the price of 2 in PAH a few weeks ago but now sure if that offer is still on.

-
Typical Mark -i went in there Monday -but she only likes the chicken one !
She is now eating for England ;D .
Vet is very pleased with her -nose cleared up and 3 days of tablet now (Baytril) and back to steroid tablets tomorrow as injection is due to wear off -but no more duiretics.
Got her some more gourmet tonight -she is getting very spoilt ,but she has eaten some whiskers today as well.
-
So pleased that Bungly is sticking a paw up to being ill and eating her little head off ;D

-
Do you know she looks really well at the moment -even her eyes aren't runny at the moment -Baytil has really done her good.
Also yes, Michelle, i think the steroid injection has given her a big boost too - hope she stays ok now she is back on the tablets .
She is not due back now till next Friday .
That competition win of mine is at the end on October - i am hoping she will still be okay then -otherwise i won''t go .
To be totally honest i am not looking forward to it at all - i can''t bear the thought of spending 1 night away from my babies let alone two !
If they had offered money as an alternative -i would have took that .
They sent me the spending money for the trip ages ago now- i have spent it on the house ( and a new cat house for Winston ) and haven't got any to go with either as yet and its only 4 weeks away :-[
They sent me the train tickets last week .
-
So really pleased she is doing so well again
I cancelled many things because i wouldnt leave Issey, now all i have is a picture to look at so i dont regret them at all :'( so i totally understand that you dont want to go away xx
-
The only think thats making me think about going is that i ask my sister to come with me and she seems to be looking forward to it -if i hadn''t ask her i wouldn''t have bothered.
When i entered it i did think to myself -i wasn''t bothered about the actual weekend but the £250 would come in handy -and it has -i got a new Sofa and bits for the house and Winstons new house ( a Katkabin)- its only because he likes to sit outside the front door and his old one has been taken over by Baggins the tabby cat from down the road !!!
-
Well wait and see how Bungly is....hopefully she will be well. xx
-
My vet only recently gave Swampy baytril after a year or more on synulox for his cold. Baytril works so well in comparison. But he says they can't take it for more than 2 weeks and although his cold has tuned up again, he has to go back on to fairly useless synulox -what does your vet say please?
hope that Bungly keeps eating well and stays unblocked.
-
can you explain to the competition organizers, and ask if necessary could someone go in your place with your sister? the outlay for them is just the same, so I don't see why they should refuse
-

Well Kate, he just gave her a Baytril injection Monday night and it worked so quickly it was unbelievable , then one Tuesday and one tonight.
Her nose has cleared up and even her eyes are better than usual ( i usually have to clean them 3-4 times a day - but only once in 2 days at the moment ) he has given me Baytril tablets for another 3 days -he didn''t say how long she could have them as she obviously only needed them for a week .
I can''t see any reason why Swampy shouldn''t have them again - i think my vet would have given them to her for longer if she needed them - my vet is wonderful though ;D.
Poor Swampy -maybe you should say thats what you want for him and you are willing to try them again before having synulox as it doesn''t work so well.
Pity you aren''t down this way -i would recommend my vet to everyone ( and i have got him out of bed at early hours when Smartie was ill once - 3 times from 10pm -2am !!!)
-

Yes, i think they would be ok about that - its just who she could go with really !!! Also i got the train tickets from Newark to London and she lives in Wales and is coming down a couple of days beforehand on the bus .
-
How is the lovely Bungly doing ? :Luv2:
-
Bungly is still a gourmet perle cat !! At least 3 sachets per day + whatever else is about ( biscuits and Winstons left overs !).
I can see a difference in her sides again -they are definately sticking out more :'( - we are back at the vets tomorrow for check up and discuss tablets .
Meowmy here has been very brave and had those teeth out today ! - so in a bit of pain and started dropping asleep again - so bit earlier to bed tonight and also since going in at 8am and getting home at 6.30 pm i haven''t been warm ! They had to wrap me in one of those tinfoil blankets after the anasethetic as i couldn''t stop shaking and still not that warm now with fire and central heating on !!
-
Positive vibes for Bungly's vet visit!
-
Hope all goes well at the vets
-
Best of luck with Bungly's visit, and well done with your teethies Mrs, hope you can get warm and make sure you rest up
-
I hope the vet visit went okay this evening  and that your mouth isnt too sore today
-
hope Bungly is ok and that her mum rests up and gets better soon too
-
Well Bungly has been to the vets and we are going back on the durietics again -her sides stick out a good bit more but Mr Owen says its the tumour mainly and not a lot of fluid any more -so not so good news .
Also he says she is eating a lot as its feeding the tumour !
She has been coming to bed again lately with me -not sure if its because the weather has got colder or she wants the company /reassurance .
-
awww, hugs for you both
-
Also he says she is eating a lot as its feeding the tumour !
I'm not a vet but that's an odd way of putting it
And also keep cuddling Bungly for now: here's one for both of you from me
-
big hugs for you and bungly
-
Thanks everyone -she isn''t having a good day today - not eaten much and very quiet -been sleeping a lot too.
-
Sending lots of    for you and Bungly xx
-
Sending you and Bungly big  and lots of good vibes.x
-
Sorry to hear Bungly is not so good today, sending lots of vibes for her and   for you
-
Sending lots of positive vibes to Bungly and yourself!
-
Hope she has a better day today
-
Hope Bungly is ok today and enjoying some Gourmet Perle
-
Hows my fav girl doing ???
-
To be honest she isn''t eating so much again - she has eaten a sausage ! and a bit of gourmet perle ,but seems to either have gone off that as well now or just doesn''t feel like eating .
She is coming to bed again now and getting on the pillow -maybe as its getting colder !? and being fussed at whatever time she wakes me up :Luv2:
I do think although i hate thinking it -she is starting to decline a bit :'(. her tummy is definately bigger and its not fluid.
Thanks for asking -Bungly sends her thanks and purrs to you . :Luv2:
-
I hope that she will be OK for a long time yet and I have one who has started snuggling all night and he has never ever done that before
-

If she isnt doing much then she wont need alot of food, try not to worry too much.
Your other option is steroids of course.
I do think its got cold, mine are all starting to sleep on the bed again :evillaugh:
I am sorry if you think she is declining, she has done so well and is such a brave girl.
Give her a big kiss from Me, I used to tell Issey about Bungly.....I know Issey will be watching over her from the Bidge and sending lots of love too xxx
-
Hugs to Bungly
-
It's so frustrating and worrying when you think you've found something that a poorly cat will eat, only for them to go off it. I've been through that with Hi life, Hills i/d and senior chicken pate. Now he will just nibble a bit of the turkey pate one. I assist (syringe) feed A/D as well to top it up, as when they don't get enough calories, they go downhill faster. Swampy doesn't mind it but I suppose it depends on the cat.
It also makes him feel better (assuming it stays down!). Does Bungly have tummy gas as that can cause bloating and inappetance?
I also know how you notice any changes when you have such a deep bond and spend so much time nursing and loving them. I hope you and Bungly get lots and lots of cuddles together which you'll both enjoy. If you are like me, you'll keep imagining the worst. It just doesn't help to do that (which you already know). I don't think any of this is predictable so it has to be one day at a time.
Hope you are both keeping warm and a big headbutt from Swampy and his mum to Bungly and hers.
-
What a tough time you and your kitty have had. Glad to hear she is eating.
Sounds like you're being a great cat slave :)
-
Thanks again.
Bungly has eaten a bit more again today .
She is on steroids all the time -2 of 5mg and she hasn''t had the duiretic for a couple of days so maybe thats why she has eaten a bit more !?
I don't know about the stomach having gasses in it - the vet didn''t mention it when he saw her Friday .
Maybe it is my imagination a bit as i feel a bit sorry for myself as my mouth/jaw is still aching from Thursday - will be glad when its settled down .
I had to go back on Monday and have some antiseptic stuff put in the gap on one side and also have now got a course of antibiotics too .
I have aslo gone of most food and not eaten a lot at all -- the one thing i usually enjoy is my food and also that doesn';'t taste very nice at the moment and i have to eat everything soft for another 4-5 days at the least !
-
Glad to hear that Bungly is eating again! :Luv2:
-
Glad to hear that Bungly is eating again! :Luv2:
Hear hear
-
how's Bungly doing? And I hope you are now feeling much better and you are both eating fine again. x
-
Bungly is back at the vet on Friday - she is eating well although some odd stuff !- she has just pulled my coffee cake over and off the plate and took a big chunk of it and ate it !
Last night it was my egg custard ( the best bit in the middle too !) , some braising steak as well as her gourmet perle and some whiskers and biscuits !
I have felt her tummy and it feels quite big and hard again - i have given her a fusemide today to see if its water retention.
My mouth is a lot better and food is tasting better too -thank goodness -last day of antibiotics as well - so all being well should be fine -thankyou.
Don''t want to go through that again in a hurry.
Its also supposed to be next week-end i go for the London trip i won -will just see how things are nearer the time.
-
So glad that Bungly is eating (even if it is some Very strange stuff ) glad that your mouth is getting better too
-
It is good to hear that Bungly is eating a varied diet ;) bless her! :Luv:
-
Oh yummy! She's having a party all to herself! :Luv2:
-
Hows my fav girl doing ??
-
yes how is she and what new confectionery has she munched?!
-
Well Bunglys "thing" now is custard -preferably as in egg custards - i have to buy a pack of 2 and end up with mostly pastry - even though i actually also prefer the middle bit !!!
We went to the vet on Friday and he says he cannot see or feel much difference , so we are back now in 4 weeks .
Taking each day now and feeling grateful for the time .
She is eating quite a lot really - caught her finishing Winstons Felix again tonight -after her own whiskers , gourmet perle and the custard this afternoon .
My sister is coming on Wednesday evening for a week ( for this London trip ) - so there will be puddings every night -so i suppose we will have the usual suspects waiting for their share too !! ( Sophie and Bungly ) .
Why is it always the girls ? As soon as i sit down with food -they both appear and sit either side -the others don''t bother and Winston never has done .
-
I think its fantastic that she is eating so well ;D
-
Well, she is having anything she wants - not that she went without before !!!
-
Just how it should be ;D
-
Oo Bungly, what perfect taste you have....Egg custard was my childhood fave and I can honestly say it still taste's the same as when I was a child! :Luv2:
So glad she is still enjoying her food!
-
:) Glad she's enjoying her custard!
-
Bungly needs some healing vibes please as she is having a off day -very quiet , sleeping all day in her heated bed and hardly eaten anything .
-
Come on Bungly...sending you healing vibes sweetheart xx
-
So sorry to hear that little Bungle is having a bad day - love, huggles and positive vibes from here xxx
-
Positive healing vibes for darling Bungly, hope she feels much better soon!
-
 for you and :ahh: for Bungly!
-
Hugs for Bungly
-
Hope Bungly is feeling better today :)
Sending loads of positive vibes for her
-
Hope she is feeling better today
-
How is Bungly this morning?
-
How is Bungly today?
-
Hope Bungly has perked up again today. Sending lots of healing vibes her way
-
Thanks .
She is a little brighter but still hasn''t eaten much - i have given her a extra 1/2 steroid to boost her eating again.
She is flat out beside me in the big heated bed -she looks tiny in it and its the biggest bed of them all .
-
Finger's crossed for the extra steroid to kick in quickly, she needs her egg custard! :Luv2:
-
Going to get some tomorrow for her ;D

Well , i think she is starting to feel a tiny bit better - i eat my diner on a tray in front of the tv and fire and usually cut up some meat and put on the side of the tray for them - well Bungly sat beside me and i saw this paw come out and hook the meat off the tray  so she has had a few small pieces of steak tonight .
On the other hand -Smartie has been coughing , so his asthma is still here - this time last year he didn't need his tablets !
There seems no end to one or the other feeling off it at the moment !! :(
-
i do hopeso and also that smartie will improve
-
Glad the steroids are kicking in for darling Bungly! :Luv2:
Hope Smartie will be okay too! :Luv2:
-
Glad Bungly was feeling peckish :) and hope Smartie is ok
-
Bungly isn''t so good though, snotty nose again and not eaten much for the last 2 days , back on Baytril injection today , tomorrow and Saturday and then finish the course with tablets . She has eaten a bit of egg custard tonight !
He also thinks the cancer might be starting to take its toll on her kidneys - so may start her on fortekor - although he did say to me "when do we say enough !"
I will do whatever i can and if fortekor will help i will put her on it to try - Smartie is doing well on it .
-
I am sorry to hear Bungly is not well again
-
 Hope she starts to pick up soon.
-
Sending lots of positive vibes for Bungly.
-
hugs for Bungly
-
i am sorry she isn't so good at the moment.
-
So sorry Bungly's not so well. Do you think she would tolerate Zithromax for her snuffles? It's a tetracycline ab so strong but it works very well on chronic snuffles. In Swampy's case Baytril only worked for a bit then stopped working.
Oh these vets, they see a beastie for 15 mins in a busy surgery and make judgements.....you will know when Bungly's had enough as she will let you know. I had so many doubts about that but after both of mine, I am sure it's the case if you have a close relationship and bond with your cat, as you do with Bungly. In the meantime, I hope she feels better asap.

-
Hi Kate,
Not sure as the baytril hasn''t worked as quick as last time ( she has only had one injection -but it worked very quick last time ), we are back there tonight so will mention Zithromax and see what he says .
Not having a good week myself as the garage has just rung re my puncture -it can''t be mended due to where it is and i have to have a new tyre -this one was new last year and loads of tread on it - i am totally broke ( 2p in my savings account ) - my brother can''t lend me anymore - i am still paying him back as it is - will have to try and juggle something somehow - its worry on top of worry at the moment .
My brother doesn't understand about the cats either -all he says is -all your money goes to the vet ! No wonder i love my cats more than family !!
-
Best of luck with Bungly at the vets tonight, am sending positive healing vibes to that darling girl of yours! :Luv2:
Hope they manage to get her snuffles sorted!
-
Hi all,
Bungly is not good - the cancer sems to be spreading to her kidneys , she is drinking a lot and eating hardly anything - the vet is seeing her tomorrow for another injection ,but says he wants to see how she goes over the week-end and i need to start thinking about making the decision soon if she doesn''t pick up :'( :'(.
I have put her on Fortekor tonight -anyone know how long it takes to start to work please ?
He said to leave the steroids and fusemide for now and just give forekor for the time being .
Bungly needs as many get well vibes as you can spare please
My head is scrambled at the moment -the car tyre cannot be mended and i have to buy a new one -this one has hardly been used and had a few years left in it !!!!
I have fallen out with my brother over money and to top it up, just as i was going to get Bungly to go to the vets -the curtain pole just fell off the wall and the wall plugs with it -if i hadn''t have run and caught it -it would have fallen on the tv and its a 7ft heavy pole with heavy curtains on it !!!
I have no-one to put it back up either as my brother wont come over and to be honest -i cannot cope with his moaning either !! >:(
Someone somewhere has it in for me :shify:
-
Sending lots of thought for Bungly and hope things get better for you
-
I am sorry things aren't going well for you. I think Fortekor takes a couple of days when used for CRF, but it can initially make them feel worse depending on what their kidney readings are, have never heard of it being used in situations like this.
-
sorry you're having a rough time right now best wishes for poor Bungly and hope things pick up
-
Sending tons of best wishes your way, and fingers crossed you don't have any more bad luck either
-
Bungly has been back this morning and had another Baytril injection and her nose is clearing up now.
She has eaten a bit of Tuna i opened when we got back - but she is sleeping a lot now .
I have to see how she is over the week-end , but i don''t think she has more than a couple of weeks at the most if she doesn;t eat and pick up again :'( :'(.
I am trying everything and she is still on the preds and fortekor now to help her kidneys going into failure .
Please keep sending all the vibes you can -she really needs them now. Thanks everyone
-
Poor you and Bungly, hope she stays as well as possible for as long as possible,,,,,,she is so gorgeous

She is in her usual spot now on the back of the sofa - maybe she is feeling a bit better ?
She is drinking a fair bit -hope the fortekor helps soon .
-
Even a little bit is a bonus and im sure she must feel better for having something to eat :)
Hope the meds quick in quickly and she improves a bit

I have enough for tonight -then i am wondering what to try her on tomorrow for a change !?
Will also make her some custard later too .

Bungly is now sleeping after 2 small saucers of raw mince ( i am supposed to be making a spag bol. with it !!?? ) she also had a saucer of ham this morning .
My Sky box has now been giving problems and they have done a sysem rebuild over the phone and now it hasn''t brought the planner back -they said it could take up to 24 hours -so now i can''t record anything tonight until it comes back .
I am worried it may have lost all the stuff i had in my planner as there with things i wanted to keep and also Dr Who from last wek i haven''t had time to watch yet - when do things start to pick up !!!
At least Bungly has eaten a fair bit today and she was looking for more mince - but will wait till later as 2 seems enough at the moment !

Its probably just me - he has said he can feel the tumour and he has been a fantastic vet for around 40 years - i suppose its just wishful thinking .
He is a fantastic vet and been there for around 40 years .
She has eaten some Hi-life today and some Tuna and biscuits and now sleeping it off in the biggest cat bed i have -which makes her look tiny !!! :Luv2: Its very warm though ( probably the warmest one ) with heated pad on and fleecy cover.

cancerous tumours grow much more slowly in older people than in the young, so perhaps it's the same for cats

Yeah thats right as the cell division is slower in an older person

oh dear :( Is she still on steroids Gill?
-
Yes, she is on 7.5 mg steroids , ( quite a big dose as she is only small and seems to look smaller now !) ,1 fortekur every day and 1 leucren (sp) every 5th day -she hates taking them all too !
I have made up some lectade tonight and put some in a syringe and she has had some of that - she has now had about 5 tiny pieces of ham -but thats not enough to keep her going - at least she did come and eat that voluntarily tonight !?
I can''t think of anything else to try to get her to eat - she has had turkey mince, beef mince (raw- she wouldn;t eat any cooked !), tuna, ham , custard !? ,chicken - won''t eat any cat food -although i think she may have had a few biscuits -but not sure .
-
Have You ever tried the RC recovery food (the one in a tin)
Its like slop but cats seem to love it
-
Is that the one theats for when they have had sickness and the runs and is a probiotic one ? I think its Hills i/d ?
Smartie has had that and loves it - i haven''t got any in -but could get some tomorrow .

-
Yes Janeyk, she loved that but wont entertain it now ! I opened one again tonight and put a little gravy on her mouth , but no way was she having it - she can still be a madam !
I warmed some tuna up -but no wouldn''t eat that either -will try again in a bit !

Hope she starts eating a bit better soon  When Sam was poorly last year I could only get him to eat pieces of chicken and bits of ham, not ideal, but it kept him going. Will Bungly eat the little Applaws tins?
-
Bungly is still not eating anything -i have made up some lectade and she had some of that -but i have put food in her mouth and she has been spitting it out -she doesn't seem interested in much at all only sleeping . She is looking very old and frail - although only 9 years old.
Unfortunately this cannot continue and this may be her last weekend as i am starting to feel it unfair to her although she doesn''t appear to be in pain -but i am not 100% certain of that. :'( :'( :'(
-
I am so sorry Bungly and it sounds like she is telling you she is so tired, my heart goes out to you

I must admit I felt the same about Sam a couple of weeks ago, he wasnt eating, and I thought it was the beginning of the end, but he suddenly turned a corner - I hope that Bungly will too

Unfortunately Bungly got worse this morning -her legs went and her head started shaking and tilting and she went to the bridge at 2.45 with me cuddling her at the vets .
She went fairly peacefully -had to put her out though as she struggled whilst he was shaving her leg - she did cry a bit and i was crying buckets and still am.
Hoping Bonnie, Leo , Oscar , Max and Sacha have the welcome mat out at the bridge for her.
RIP Bungly :candle: -Mummy''s Christmas Angel - love you always and forever till we meet again. Night night god bless sweetheart xxxxx

Due to various and many experiences i decided to devote my love and life to my cats as they don''t treat you bad, are always there for you and give you unconditional love -which for some reason i have never had from anyone in my life.
I hope Bungly has met all my other bridge babies by now and all the friends she will make from the ones from Purrs and she will be pain free and happy again till i meet them all again one day .

It's with tears in my eyes I'm writing this. What a sad way to end this year.
Words are just not enough I'm afraid.
Please know I feel for you, having lost 3 this year.
Just know you're in my thoughts.

I am so sorry for your loss. :care:
RIP Bungly, you were loved very much and always will be.

I am so sorry to read this, but she had a fantastic life with you, and she was lucky to have had someone who was strong enough to let her go when it was her time. She will have met all the others now and they will be sharing happy memories of their time with you, until they can meet you again. RIP little one, and big hugs to you, we are all here for you.

I can''t believe my baby Bungly isn''t here with me anymore.
I cried again through my tea tonight when Sophie came to see what i had as Bungly used to wait for her share too .
I miss having her looking down on me from the top of the sofa and i miss her sleeping on my pillow .
One small cat -one big presence - missed so much .

One week today and it feels like my heart will never mend.
Bungly is the first thing i think about when i open my eyes and the last thing at night -i have her face in my head at all times - i miss her every minute of every day :'( :'(
Today she has gone to Northampton to be cremated and all being well she will be back here with me just before Christmas - i hope she had a safe journey there in this weather .
God bless my sweet angel .
