Post by: Debsymiller (Rufus' mum) on June 01, 2009, 21:00:46 PM
Jasper! He's no longer white, he's come home looking like he's been up a chimney!!! I ahve no idea what he's been doing but he looks like he's had a good time. He's not even shown an attempt to wash himself, he;s just strutting around as if to say 'look at me, aren't I rugged!'

I used to live a couple of doors away from an active coal-yard.  Not so good when you have two  black and white cats.....

The number of times they came home black and grey cats. . . . . .

Lucky would always have a good wash.

Gizmo (Bless him) had more white so maybe he thought it wasnt worth it.

He would sat in the middle of my white, bedside sheepskin rug and then roll .....  Result?  Grey rug - clean cat

Polly is supposed to be all white,  she is a very dodgy shade of grey and white at the moment,  she sits under the cars on the drive and gets brake dust all over her,  she used to be an indoor cat and people always commented on how clean and bright white she looked,  now she goes outside people just say 'where have you been Polly,  you are filthy' !!   ;D
