There is also another cruel practice - I have forgotten the name but they dock lambs tails with no anaesthetic which makes them akin to the Chinese  >:(

Australia is the worst offender - they are barbarians  >:( http://www.savethesheep.com/

Please don't buy any Australian/New Zealand lamb or wool products.

There is a petition here to the PM of Australia to stop cruel lamb mutilation.

They use garden shears to remove a large portion of fleash from their rear with no anaesthetic. We need to know where our wool comes from and not buy it if it is Australian.

Apparently to stop flystrike but surely a big wound like that would attract flies?

It is barbaric beyond belief for what is supposed to be a civilised country?
