Well i thought you might all like an update on the twosome and how they are getting on with me and my gang,they have both settled well and are eating for england, i have allowed them access to the upstairs for a while till they were used to my gang and i must say i have never met 2 such lovely cats, no animosity from either of them towards my lot and visa versa except the initial intro to Kali, she wasnt to fussed to meet the newcomers and promptly let them know, now she just ignores them :evillaugh Dave is an absolute dreamboat and follows me like a shadow, helps with the washing up, and the cat trays :sick: Chilli is more reserved but enjoys a fuss and her cuddles and today i was allowed a tummy rub ;D They were both very wary of the dogs at first but Dave has coped very well and providing they dont move too quickly will walk past them , Chilli however is not yet ready to do that and gives them a wide berth. Dave has been sitting for hours at the window watching my lot outside and is desperate to go and join them so tonight i put a puppy collar and lead on him and we went a little walk round the garden :wow: it was like he had never seen grass and concrete before we must have gone round the back garden 100 times just in case he missed anything, ive never seen a cat so excited ;) tomorrow we are going in the front garden so god help me i could be out there all night, Chilli shows no sign of wanting to go out yet so i will leave her for the time being till she is more confident around the dogs, i hope to be able to post some photo,s later in the week when i borrow a friends camera as mine has gone caput

Sounds like they are settling in well there Bonnielass - well done you for helping shona out in her hour of need. It must be costing you a bomb with such an expanded menagerie. Still, I expect the Shona will be contributing a bit towards their keep. She must really appreciate that her babes have found a new refuge and that she did not have to face the worst case scenario that she envisaged ...

Dave is the purrfect cat, so loving and laid back but with a cheeky side that is begining to surface :evillaugh: Chilli is much more ladylike and much prefers to take a back seat but she has her own charm bless her :Luv: Mark they are with me for quite a long period till Shona gets her residency which could be 6 months to a year :wow:

My Babies! :Luv: I'm impressed at there being food out and Dave managing to ignore it :shify: Chilli is blatantly flouting one of my house rules by being on the kitchen counter, not that they ever really listened to me anyway :evillaugh:

They have settled lovely, as you can see Chilli is making friends ;) altho she has yet to win Kali over, shes fed up because Dave has nicked her bed so shes ignoring him completely :evillaugh:

Nope! Didn't even know what a dog was till going to Bonnielass! As my past fosterer said though, Dave just wants to be loved by everyone, regardless of species :evillaugh: They are truly part of the family, all very happy :Luv:

Dave has adapted to the dogs very well, he sometimes sits in the hallway with both of the dogs and now only drinks from their water bowl, tried the dog food but wasnt very keen :rofl:Chilli is okay with Raps as she is steady where as Axel is bouncy, the 2 have really adapted to being here very well as i can testify when they charge through the house with Snuggs and Scamps at 2am in the morning playing chase :evillaugh: Dave is enjoying his little stroll every day on the lead but Chilli isnt ready yet so she just sits at the window and looks out, Dave didnt get to go yesterday as it was pouring down all day so he decided to find mischief and the total so far from his escapeads is 1 bottle of bath oil , i mug (luckily empty ) and a water bowl upstairs, he went into hiding :evillaugh: little monkey. this morning him and Chilli are having a mad 1/2hr, getting rid of the energy,Dave is also getting very good with food, he is now not devouring everything in sight ;)

Ah, the naughty streak, yes Dave has rather a large one of those, just check out my past thread about him :evillaugh: He used to sit next to the TV, wait till I was watching, then knowck off a stack of blank CD's one by one, little butter. Oh and he was rather fond of pulling the entire contents out of a unit of mine, as well as breaking into a cupboard to get to the treats within :evillaugh:

Well ive had Chilli and Dave for 5 weeks now and its as if they have always been her and part of my gang,so i thought you might all like to see some new photo.s of the 2 enjoying their new found freedom as of the weekend,they have been going out on a puppy lead for short walks but today they had their first taste of freedom(with Shona,s permission ) on their own,
