I work near St Helens so heard about this today - I get told everything anyone sees about cats in the office good or bad! I had a bit of a rant about it TBH.

I wonder how those horrid people would like being burnt?  >:( >:( I lose my faith in humanity sometimes!!

They are gorgeous babies :Luv: thankfully they are in safe hands now.

I hate it when people assume that because you have said you like cats that you want to hear about everything good or bad. I once had a temp ask me if I knew a restaurant I went to had a rumour of using cats in it's cooking >:(

The same old "chinese restaurant" rumour but still, I don' really want to hear it!

We are supposed to be a civilised nation but how can anyone be called civilised who does this to 2 helpless little babes :censored: :censored: even the cavemen didnt torture animals and they didnt know any better, this generation is just a load of mindless thugs who have no regard for life in any form :censored: thank god the poor little mites were found and given a safe haven and hopefully the mental harm can eventually dim to just a faint memory

Stacey at our local rescue had a burnt kitten last year. She has kept him and he is a loving cat who wants to be all the visitors friend. Hopefully these babes will be the same and forget. (It has to be said, they think yobs set fire to an abandoned sofa not realising that there was a kitten under the cushions, not deliberate cruelty.)

That has brought a tear to my eye, so very sad. Least they are safe now and I hope the person who did this gets their comeuppance

seems it wasnt a deliberate attck on the kittens but simply they were born in the most unfortunate place

So sad, but at least perhaps it seems these little ones did not suffer because of a deliberate act (although I know the suffering is just as great) which sadly we and and I know many others have to occasionally deal with. Often when it is a deliberate act the little ones do not have a chance to recover.

Glad it wasn't deliberate , but poor little babies! I can see why mum cat would have chosen a boiler room too ,nice and warm and dark. :(

It makes me a feel a little less harsh about the world to find it wasn't deliberate. I am so sad they had to suffer but sending positive vibes and pleased they are the the right hands now. Get well soon babies
