Title: Zephyr is poorly
Post by: Sam (Fussy_Furball) on May 25, 2009, 19:54:49 PM
My poor baby is feeling a bit under the weather.  I noticed when I got back on Saturday he had lost his miaow but I thought he might have been doing alot of talking while I was away.  I also noticed that he sounded a bit "chesty" when he was purring but as he was so pleased to see me ... he was actaully dribbling cuz he was purring and rubbing so much  :evillaugh:

Anyway today he is looking a bit "sad" and when he purrs he sounds all chesty and rattly so I think he might have a bit of a cold or a chest infection so I will give the vet a call in the morning and get him for some antibiotics.  He's still eating, drinking, purring and playing with Rossi so he's not too bad but he definitely isn't 100%  :(

Hope Zephyr is better after a trip to the nice vet man

Hope you now feel guilty about going on holiday now!

We are having 36 hours away in June for a 100 Birthday and I am already compiling lists for our cat sitter - in fact Robin is currently doing a floor plan for the grit boxes and where the food bowls go!  This lovely mad woman is also looking after Jazz for us along with her 2 dogs and her own cat - my poor boys Sky and Sunny are off to kennels for 3 days!

Thanks for all the good wishes for the boy.

They didn't go into a cattery CC they were looked after at home by my local Witch (she's a white witch that lives opposite me and my lot all think she is wonderful - funny as they don't get on with anyone normally!).

Well mummy's little solider has a sore throat and a bit of an upper respiratory infection  :( .  Nice Mr Vet, who owns 4 siamese's, said he could tell my little boy was losing his miaow - even though everyone else in the waiting room was convinced he was the noiseiest cat they had ever heard! LOL (I did try to explain he was only on ½ volume but they didn't believe me!).

So he had an antibiotic jab, a thermometer up the bum and a 5 day course of antibiotic tablets and mummy is now £34 poorer.
