Title: Runny tummy
Post by: Leanne on May 21, 2009, 18:32:00 PM
Sorry i think i posted this in the wrong room just now.
Today we've had 5 loose poos but we don't know who from both seem okay in themselves.
I suspect its milo but i'm not sure. Do i starve him? Give him boiled chicken later or go to the vets tomorrow? We've had loose poos before but not on this scale.

Chicken or white fish, unless they are really poorly i dont do a 24hr starve, causes much upset when the others get fed!

I think if he's otherwise well in himself ie eating, drinking, alert, playful etc then I'd do as MM has suggested and feed them both a bland diet for a day or so and see how they get on. Hope he's feeling better tomorrow :care:

Thanks everyone. Well i went and got some chicken and boiled it up and milo gobbled it down it was quite exciting for him i think. I gave jess normal food. Milo had two more meals of chicken on friday and we've had no more runny poo's thankfully so think all is well.
