Firstly I should confirm this was a very freak accident ...
I had Memphis in my arms earlier this evening. Molly jumped up at something and for some reason it made Memphis jump. Well he was aiming for my shoulder but completly missed, instead he impaled one of his claws into my upper lip and pulled down .. Ouchy!
It bled A LOT but eventually stopped. Then it hurt a huge amount and now my upper lip is numb LOL. Needless to say the first thing I did was make sure he was ok ... I think I scared the living daylight out of him with all my screeching!!!!
What with the bruises from last weeks bite and a the blooded lip I'm the walking wounded thanks to my kitty LOL.

:get well:
So sorry Den. I know sometimes when I pick Bonnie up to put her in the carrier to go to the vet she really digs her claws in my shoulder. I once kissed my auntie's dog on the nose and it bit my bottom lip (she then told me he didn't like being kissed on the nose!!).
We know they don't do it on purpose and that is why we still love 'em. :Luv2:

I'm fine thank you. It's a little bit uncomfortable and feels sore when I eat, but it looks like it'll heal up. LOL at the moment I do seem to look like I've been involved in a fight
Memphy has been looking after me very well. I'm just so glad I cut his claws the day before, hate to think it could have been even more painful!
