Title: Fire Engine Crash ! LOL
Post by: Daisymac on May 11, 2009, 19:22:46 PM
As you probably would have seen from my other posts today,  I got my cats one of the Play Houses that were shown on the Apprentice,   we built it (with the aid of a lot of sellotape and swearing !),   the cats ignored it most of the afternoon and the first cat to get in it,  has a look around for about 30 seconds and then launches herself out of the cut out for the windowscreen (which is not where they are supposed to get in and out and is only about 2 inches by 4 inches),  so in summary,  the fire engine comes flying towards me,  the ladder bit and the roof falls off,  the cat gets out of the windowscreen and the fire engine now looks like this !!!

I must say for £10 the playhouse is not worth it,  but I have had a bl**dy good laugh at how awful it now looks !!

Funny you should say that,   Ooops was exactly what my husband said before he rolled up in unconrollable laughter !,  should have got a bottle of wine for a tenner instead !

Well, you do have a funny topic now, but such a shame about the money. Next time stick to plain cardboard boxes rather  :naughty:

Sorry it's been such a waste - but I did say in the other post I would be surprised if anyone bought one.

Pic below shows a box I got FREE and Bonnie's had it about 7 months now and still in the same condition.

I would write to PAH and complain especially as you had to use so much tape on it to even build it in the first place.

The sad thing is that if they are selling these next time I visit PAH, I just know I will buy one  :-[

:omg: You would think for a tenner they would use thicker boxing!  :shify:

I think were all gonna have to "Take Heart" and make one of our own out of sturdier boxes!  :sneaky: :evillaugh:

One day I'll post the pics of my OH trying to assemble the tank version.... it was very, very funny.

The Munchkin, of course, ignored it entirely and eventually we threw the b****y thing out!
