:omg: what a stunner, those eyes :Luv2: She looks as though she's made herself at home already! What's her background, is she a rescue?
-
Well........i do feel like we have rescued her. Her previous owners had bought her with the sole intebtion of making money. She has muscle wastage as she has spent most of the time in a cage, she was riddled with fleas, her ears are absolutely filthy, probably ear mites so i will have to treat the others too. She has a scar on her ear & a bite to the back of her neck, was also living with 2 pedigree dogs male & female so i guess they are for breeding too. She is the most affectionate lil thing i have ever met.
I know we should never purchase a cat because we feel sorry fot it but i couldn't leave her there when i knew what a wonderful home i can give her. She's booked in to be spayed on the 20th may & they will sort her ears out while she is under as she is quite difficult to handle.
Looking frwd to getting her in tip top condition ;D

what an absolute beauty!!! :Luv2:

Aw thanks guys. I was a bit bothered about what reaction to expect with me deliberatly wanting a pedigree. I know all cats deserve a wonderful home. I have wanted a snow bengal for a long time. It has been like brooding for a baby. Anyway she's here now & can't wait to get her spayed & in tip top condition.
Thankyou all o very much xx
-
:wow: those eyes :Luv2:
-
Congratulations! She's beautiful. How old is she?
-
Thankyou, she's 11mths old & very tiny althogh you wouldn't tell from the photos. Hope to get some weight on her & build up some musclee before her spay on the 20th may.
-
I would love a Bengal :Luv2: Found one but was way to costly for my situation at the moment :(
-
If I ever have a pedigree it will be a Bengal :Luv2: Riley is as nutty as a bengal and Lu has a spotty tummy so they're my substitute bengals :Luv2:

Yeah they can be very expensive. Although by the time Lacie has been sorted out at the vets she will prbably have cost us as much as a good quality kitten.

Lol, your subs are absolutely adoreable hon :Luv:

The one I found was £550 but I think she was being sold as a breeding Queen? , which would not be what I would want her for. I dont really think a Bengal would add much more to the madness that already goes on here :evillaugh:
-
£550 would have been a pet quality Bengal & papers would not be given to you until proof that she had been spayed. £1600 is more like the price for a breeding queen
Thankfully Lacie won't end up in the hands of a back yard breeder now she is with me ;D ;D ;D
-
WOW! She is stunning :Luv: :Luv2: :Luv:

:drool; What an angel, it's the eyes that get me :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2:
I hope you don't mind me saying but although her collar is pretty, those types of collar can be really dangerous :shy: The breakaway collars that snap apart if she gets snagged on anything are the only type that I would use. You can get some really pretty breakaway collars too ;D
-
3rd pic down in the first post it looks like it is a saftey collar helen ;D i share your concern for that style as mostly they dont even have elastic in them :tired:
-
Thanks for your concern, yeah it is a safety collar ;D She will be getting a new one tho, that one's a bit chavvy for me ;D
Thanks for all your kind comments too ;D
-
Let me rephrase that.....break away collar is what i meant to say ;D
-
AWWW she is a total babe - and I would of done the same - buy her to save her and give her a fantastic life, the one she deserves.
bless her she is a wonderful girl :Luv: :Luv: xxxxx
-
she is lovely Molly :Luv: :Luv:
-
She is gorgeous Mollz - I am so pleased for you and Lacie xxx :Luv2:
-
Thankyou girls ;D ;D ;D
She's eaten her first raw chicken wing tonight ;D needless to say there wasn't much left of it ;D
-
What a stunner,
would love to say loads about her previous owners, but it all comes under this icon - :censored: I'm just so glad you managed to save her, what's her breed?
-
Thanks hon ;D She's a bengal.
I think they where just more ignorant than malicious. It leaves me with questions about the breeder more than the owner as she did come with papers although not registered as a breeding queen. I know where your coming from tho >:(
Thankyou for the kind remarks everyone.
-
Thankyou,
dozy me just read the other comments, a snow bengal? New one on me that, only ever seen pics of brown tabby bengals. Those blue eyes are amazing. You know a cat was found on some wasteland near the hospital where i work (we sneak there for a ciggie ;) ) His eyes were the most sapphire blue i've ever seen. He was cream & light red, long & thin, real oriental type. The girls told me he'd been crying like a baby & when they picked him up, he held on for dear life, poor love was freezing too. He never had a collar & wasn't microchipped, the vet said that he had certainly been dumped. The upside to that was that 1 of the girls took him home & he adopted them. His name I believe is now Pharaoh, he rules the roost & never goes outside. Didn't mean to prattle on but seeing your little one's eyes reminded me of him.
-
;D aww thankyou hon.
I'm glad Phraoh found a loving honme, poor wee mite. Don't you just wonder about some people eh? Any Lacie & Pharaoh are safe now ;D & that story is so heartwarming.
-
mmmm I think we need a photo of the lovley Pharaoh - you must get one from your friend. He sounds adorable :Luv:
-
Well i'll try if I see them,
just been looking on google images & Pharaoh is exactly like a red point siamese. In fact I think he is one as i've never seen such a beautiful cat before, obviously caring people don't let them wander. Good job they did take him home as it was freezing that night & I don't think he would have survived. I don't understand why people would dump an animal like that, even without papers they could have sold him to someone rather than that. Mind you, come to think about it, it's probably the best thing that could have happened to him, dumped in a field near to a bunch of clucky nurses? We were fighting to hold him, lol.
-
Lol @ " a bunch of clucky nurses" ;D
Yeah, piccies plz, that would be wonderful ;D
