I think it depends in which area your living in. I paid £52 for their first lot of the 2 jabs and about £25 for the boosters :)
-

Just paid £36 for a booster
-
I paid £35.73 for the first, and £22ish for hte boosters, but I dont have FeLV
-

http://www.vaccinationmonth.co.uk/
they have not yet posted which vets are doing what but hopefully they will soon.
-
£16 for a booster minus felv, you will find a big range of prices smudgey so phoning around is certainly wisest
-
I agree - my last vet charged me £180 for boosters for 3 cats and I didn't even know about FeLV being option then.
I can't remember what we paid this year.
-
My goodness that seems expensive for 3 boosters.
-
I paid £45 in Jan . for 2 boosters -one with FeLV and one without - then he gave me a 10% discount on top .

He is an expensive vet that I no longer use. He was charging me £48 for 56 fortekor and charged me a £5 admin fee each time. The new vet charges me £25 and no fee.

From VetUk that would be £22.96 and of course if you order via a charity site , they would get a £5% commission. However, if you have to pay the vet every 3 or 6 months for the prescription to sent to VetUK, then the £25 seems a good price.

For every repeat?
The vet I have now keeps good stocks of everthing. That was another annoying thing with the old one, I had to phone and order 2 days in advance even for things like Fortekor.

I phoned round vets in my area yesterday as I'm getting a kitten in 2 weeks.
3 of them quoted £51, £52 and £61. The I phoned another and was quoted £19...for the full initial course which was for flu and enteritis, £33 to have leukaemia too.
I was shocked at the difference.

Which would add upto £52 anyways.
Yes Mark, every blooming time >:( It cost something like 4p for Ollie's tablets (at the time) and I wondered why I was being charged £7.40 lol
-
I just had a look at my vets price list and they are
Full kitten course incl FeLV ... £63.39
Cat booster incl FeLV .. £40.96

I called my vets as I need to get my babes their boosters soon and it was £38 each or £50-something if I had the leukemia jab too.
How much risk is leukemia to cats? I dont mind paying the money but is it necessary?

Leukemia is only needed if they will come into contact with other cats ie they are free roaming. My boys only have access to the catproofed garden so I only vaccinate against Flu & Enteritis which are airborn, leukemia is transmitted through bites etc
Edit to add:
Initial vaccination - Flu, Enteritis & Leukemia £76.50
Inital vaccination - Flu & Enteritis £43
Flu, enteritis & leukemia booster - £48
Flu & enteritis booster - £29.50
-
From our vets website:
Kitten Course( Flu and Enteritis): £29.99
Kitten Course (Flu, Enteritis, Leukaemia): £39.99
Cat Booster (Flu and Enteritis) : £16.50
Cat Booster (Flu, Enteritis, Leukaemia): £26.50
-
as usual my vet seems to be pretty expensive
£33 for flu enteritis booster
£43 for flu enteritis and leukemia booster
-
