We lost Kimba to the road on wednesday afternoon.
I cannot explain how devastated we all are. The hurt is too much. I will catch up in a few days time, just popped in as i thought you would like to know.

I know what You are going through....and I also know that feeling of guilt BUT You gave her freedom, Freedom to be a cat and enjoy her life.
I have come to understand, with the one's I have lost to the road, that although their lives were cut short they wouldn't have been happy kept indoors.
We are all here for You xxxx

I'm so so so sorry :hug: I know exactly what you're going through. I lost my baby boy Rufus to the road in February and not a day goes by where my heart doesn't break all over again. You were right to give her freedom though and although her life may have been short, she knew the love she received, not the length of time. She would have passed knowing how much you all cared for her.
If you need to talk then PM me, it's all so recent I really do feel your pain. I have been thinking about arranging some pet bereavement counseeling through blue cross as I have not coped at all well so maybe we could be of some help to each other when you feel more like you can talk about it.
Imagine her playing in green fields, totally at peace and enjoying herself til you're there to collect her. RIP sweet Kimba, your mummy loved you so much. :hug:

Oh My - I have just watched Kimba's tribute and I am in total pieces -
SO moving and beautiful, it bought back memories of my Zak, even 4 years on it still cuts like a very sharp knife - Your little lady was such a beautiful girl - WHY is all I can ask -WHY did such a tragdey, to such a beautiful cat have to happen.

Honi, I know I've said this already but we are so so sorry about gorgeous wee Kimba, our hearts are breaking for you. :(
The video tribute had me in bits, I've watched it a few times now, its just so heartbreaking, bittersweet if you know what I mean. Although I've yet to meet your kittys I feel I know them already from how you talk about them & the amazing pix & videos you've sent me over the years. I'm here for you hon, any time day or night if you need me. :hug:

I havent got any pictures of my Bridge babies on my laptop
but here are their names
STAR.....lost to the road aged 22mths
MARMITE ...lost to the road aged 6mths
STORM....lost to the road aged 18mths
POOH....disappeared, never to be seen again aged 5yrs
I now my babies were there to greet Kimba.....they wll be her friends until to collect her xxxxx

Wow, look at all the friends my wee girl will be playing with. I think she will lurrrvvvv Zak!!!! Wasn't he a big boy? I can see her now running sideways doing her crab impressions & chasing her new friends :Luv:
