My poor little cat was found in the road this morning, Scraggle, Scraggs, Muffinboy, Ragamuffin all the names he has been affectionately called over the last 10 years. He managed to get out of my parents house last night and did not return at bed time. My dad found him at 6am this morning, he had been hit by a car. He leaves behind his adopted sister Bella who will be lost without him. My sister took him for his booster vacs yesterday and blames herself that he was scared after his trip to the vets and that is why he ran off last night. Scraggs we will all miss you xxx.

RIP Scraggle cat, safe and sound at the Bridge until your family is ready to collect you xx
Remember Our Love
I was chosen that day
I'm learning to fly
the world took me away,
but please don't you cry
And I chose you today
to try and be strong
so please don't you cry
and don't say that I'm gone
When you're feeling alone
just remember our love,
I'm up near the stars
looking down from above.
Remember our love
In a moment you'll see
that I'm still here beside you
when you're thinking of me.

Marie I am so sorry to hear this, you and your family must be devastated
Please give your sister a   from me and tell her not to beat herself up about it. If a cat is determined to get out it makes life very difficult. My Milly, overnight managed to remove the barriers that I had erected and bashed her way through a locked cat flap.
:RIP:

We are still struggling to come to terms with the loss of Scraggle. My dad said he was in the gutter of the road with blood around his head but he was not wearing his collar which he was wearing when he went out. We just wish we knew how it had happened, did the person that hit him take his collar and if so why did they not phone us. He wore a collar everyday in case something like this happened. I would be devestated if I ever hit a cat yet this person just left him in the road.

when my Algie was hit his collar came off, Algie managed to get back home but we found his collar in the road a couple of hundred metres away the following day
