Must stock up with HiLife pate when I get paid then, it is a good price - what I can't understand is why the three main supermarkets can sell them at 29p, as it is cheaper than the RRP, so you can't even get it that cheap buying in bulk from their online supplier!! Not tried the Feline Fayre pouches, will have to see what they think before buying in bulk!!

I bought some Hilife puches the other day and it says they are a "complementary food" so I am a bit wary of buying it - the cans say "complete food"

It's fine as long as you are feeding dry as well Mark.

or any other wet food that's complete.  It's just not good to feed exclusively.

The tins of Pate are complete, and Asda sell Cherish, which is also complete and 4 sachets for £1. When I feed the complimentary pouches, I feed it with a complete dry, as per Wizz's suggestion (she did a nutrition course)

Clapton won't touch dry since he had the last teeth out. I have been told that cats gums will harden but he won't go near it. I will just keep it as a standby when he won't eat anything else.

Before I knew you could feed HiLife more regularly if put down with dry food, I just used to give mine half a pouch for their supper, so you could use it up that way.
