Next door has put together what looks like a large rabbit hutch/small chicken shed thing, but they don't have rabbits or chickens. It's for their cats :shify:
What's everyones opinions on this? Is it a good idea or a stupid one?
-
how big is it?
-
Not really sure. It's roughly 1 metre high from where i can see
-
Actually, i'd put it at a metre and a half at a guess
-
Is it for them to live in or have a bit of time out in?
-
I'm not sure about that either. I would imagine it's just for some playtime outside. Although looking today, it's really hot and they've placed it in the sun without any water available :shify:
What i'm finding wierd about this is that her 2 cats don't ever leave the garden anyway, they never have. Maybe i'm looking too much into this.
-
Maybe its just a shelter for them? I have a dog kennel in mine, they like to sleep in/on it ;D
-
until we get a lace curtains smilie, this will have to do :pic sneek:
could be for poultry, perhaps - more and more people are keeping chickens these days

It's def not for chickens and i don't think the landlady would be impressed if it was :evillaugh:

Someone I adopted a cat to has what looks like a rabbit hutch in the garden for the cats, in case they want to use it to snooze in - the female likes to use it to sunbathe on top of.
-
You mean it's an enclosure rather than a shelter? A metre and a half by what? Sounds a bit small if it's meant to be an exercise run.
-
It's def not that big. And the floor space in it has been taken up by a scratching post and a litter box.
I don't speak to my neighbours so i can't ask what size it is, but it looks roughly 11/2 metres high and roughly 2 metres from side to side.
