Today i collected little Alfie 6 month old being given away free on F xxx site, >:( unfortunately i was to late to get his sister, both un-neutered, in his short space of life hes had 3 homes, first he was sold as a kitten to a lady who brought him back 3 weeks later she couldnt cope with a kitten, >:( then he was sold a second time to a couple who have now decided to move and dont want him anymore, and because hes not a cute cuddly kitten he could no longer be sold so was being given away like litter, hes going to be done next week then i will put him up for homing to someone who will cherish and love him as they should, will post pictures when hes settled down a little bit

-

Alfie is :Luv2: - I still can't work out how people can be so heartless :(
-
awww :Luv2: he's lovely
-
Aww bless him, I bet he's glad to be out of the rat race :)
-
those sites are a nightmare, I was looking for something on one of them the other day and two tiny 5 week old torti babies came up, about 9 miles from my work - I found myself emailing the person asking them to contact me, I didn't hear back so assume they'd gone :'(
-
What a cute hunk of shiny black cat :Luv2: :Luv:
-
Poor little mite, hope he gets a really good home.
It really upsets me that people wouldn't want a 6month old kitten, its probaly the best age, they are still cute as a button (I'm looking at my own 6 month old kitten).
Glad you found him.
-
Well done xxxx
I had a look through :censored:TREE last night and couldnt believe how many under aged kittens were for sale and how many un-neutered females
-
I know its sickening isnt it  poor little mites dont stand a chance with some people, you hear such horrific stories, in the last 3 month ive taken 3 females (un-nuetered ) 3 kittens and Alfie, im just sorry i was to late for his sister, i suppose some will go to good homes but not many :(
-
Omg he's a stunner :Luv:
Wish I could have him
-
Poor boy :Luv: he looks such a love, he's lucky to have you rescue him xx
-
He is gorgous isnt he and will be up for homing next week after hes been to the vets to be done ;), hes good with kids / dogs etc and a real little purr pot :Luv:

Fantastic news, i have found a lovely home for Alfie, they already have a young cat same age as Alfie and will be picking him up in 3 weeks after their hols, as they didnt want to take him for a couple of weeks then put him in a cattery, so another happy ending for a freebie
-
Well done for getting this chap off the sites hun  and he is absolutely :Luv2: poor wee mite probably hardly knows what hit him and going on as he's been bounced around so much.
I have a little one due to be picked up and brought in as a result of the flippin free ad sites. We do our best to intercept most and contact them but sadly the main driver is money in many of the cases and we very rarely get anywhere with them. But at least if we can save 1 or 2 its better than none!
good work! :)

I know exactly what you mean about these sites, if i had more room i could probably take more(if i could get them in time ) but i do what i can, since working down at the rescue i now realise what a problem this is where as before i didnt really take a lot of notice, it breaks my heart with some of them, the kittens go quickly its the older ones i really feel sorry for, not many people will take on an older cat over 7/8yrs which is a shame as they are just as loving if not more so,
-
Missed this! Well done, bonnielass. :)
-
Well done for saving that little boy!
-
Well done Bonnielass for saving him. I only take older cats in now, kittens are relatively easy to rehome.
-
Well Alfie left me last night to go to his new home :( it was touch and go whether he went or not,he was such a little sweetheart and so loving :Luv: even Kali accepted him and let him join her gang :evillaugh:, but if i had kept him it means i would be limited for another needy one, he has gone to a smashing home and will have a pal there called George who is 2 months older then him and she has promised me lots of pictures when hes settled, so a happy ending for Alfie
-
Well Done Bonnielass, so pleased you let your head rule your heart.
Good Luck Alfie
-
Good for you BL. :) :) Good luck in your new home, Alfie.
-
Aww, glad to hear this

Well done Bonnielass. I just don't understand why the neutering message doesn't get through. Surely people must realise that ok, the cat has kittens, but then they need vetinary treatment before sale if only for worms and fleas. Mum cat needs extra food and vitamins to feed kittens. It isn't just cat produces kits for sale. Costs are incurred as well, even if done in a half assed way.
