Despite my OH giving me "that will never work" looks I bought a harness from Pets at Home for Mango. As we recently sold our house and we are living at my OH's mums place (which has quite a big garden!) I thought I would try the Bear outside.
Well, I fastened it on and she acted almost as if it wasn't there! I think I will try it a few more times and then attach the lead to it. Soooooo looking forward to taking my Bear for a trundle round the garden!!
BTW I laid the unfastened harness onto Chutney's back and she ran off-I knew it would never work for her!
I will try and get some pics of her in her harness and maybe some more if I manage to get her in the garden!!
*Proud mum* :Luv2:

Mojo, Misha freaked a bit with the harness around so I tried leaving his meal until 20 mins late (evil I know) and putting the harness on and feeding him... by time he had finished the food which he was *desperate* for lol, he forgot he even had the harness on :innocent:

Yes, thats definately what I was thinking would be a good idea to do with Mango, as she is very food orientated  But last night she must have been very chilled out and she let me do it. I did chuck a couple of biccies her way when she had it on though.
Will let you know how it develops!

Mango would like to let you know that she is a girlie cat :evillaugh:

a harness worked very well with a siamese cat I had when I first came here - she would lie on her back and I would pull her along on the lawn - it never occured to her she was supposed to walk wearing it

What a brave girl :Luv2: Hope she enjoys her trundle when the time comes :)

Yay! The harness looks tight on her for some reason but it wasn't, she just has very thick fur!! This is great progress considering I only bought the harness last weekend :)

Oh she is so cute and seems happy enough on her harness. As I was looking at the pics though OH said "NO we are not taking Charley for walks!"
We have 4 cats but he still managed to guess exactly who I was thinking of...

She's so pretty :Luv2:
-
What a gorgeous little girl :Luv2:
-
To give her a bit more walkies space try an ultra light dogs extension lead - this is how Sweetie and Toerag discovered the outside nearly 17 years ago
Lead is still going strong and is used for Jazz now aged 15 when she won't go out in the rain
