Title: Cat Hayfever?
Post by: MooCat on April 14, 2009, 03:32:22 AM
Just wondering if cats can suffer from hayfever as ikkle Hendrix has been sneezing
a lot today and this is the 1st weekend that ive really had the windows open since he adopted me
in November.
Im probably being a bit paranoid but im stressing slightly over it so any advice welcome.

I would definitely say that they can get pollen allergies just like humans

Hi all

Rosie has been sneezing like a trooper this morning!! and it's only 6.30am!! I was wondering the same about hayfever, she didn't have it last year though? She is now able to go out when she wants since we moved.

Just wondering if I should get her checked out, just in case?

The Munchkin has been sneezing quite a bit over the last few days and did so this time last summer too, so I'm certain cats do get pollen allergies.

My Smartie has seasonal asthma and it started a few weeks back -he coughs more than sneezes and is back on steroids again now - started off on 1mg and got it down to 1/2 a day .
