Well my gf cat loves her new food.... I think it has caused a bit of a bad belly due to it's change... Should we keep feeding and it will settle down?
Also I've noticed her bum is quite red and had a a bit of clear yellowy liquid running from it today
Were getting working and internal parasites pills tomorrow
Any advice welcome!

Don't buy supermarket ones - they are at best useless and at worst dangerous. You need to get Milbemax or Drontal from the vet. Milbemax is better as it is smaller and coated in beef flavour. If the cats won't eat it as a treat, you can always hide it in a treat or piece of ham or chicken. Drontal tablets are huge. If they touch the cat's tongue, they can start foaming at the mouth as they are bitter.

Prob due to new food yes, really should be introduced gradually, i.e. just a teaspoon of new food added to old food, then slowly increase new food and decrease old food. I'd go back to old food and start again.

i wish it was that easy....... for a cat thats been eating either nothing, or pizza crust and chips and cheese its not goig to be that simple.
could there be damage caused if we just continue to feed? or will her belly grandually accept this?

Ah, ok, see what you mean, in that case, probably best to try small but frequent meals then.
Or, just had another thought - maybe try her on plain cooked chicken for a few days, then gradually introduce normal cat food.

I agree with Gillian, small and frequent meals and she will get used to it.

its settled down alot now :-)
she has also improved alot and is running about playing with the kitten :-)
