Lately, she keeps hopping over the fence. There is a gravel road which is the driveway for us, the vets and the gas showroom. There is also an overgrown garden. At the other end of the gravel road which is about 20 yards long, there is a side street with the high street 20 yards to the left and the beach 100 yards to the right with lots of houses & garden inbetween. Anyway, we knew she was out but usually come back pretty soon. I realised that I hadn't seen her for well over an hour. We went out with a torch looking round the overgrown garden, Searched the house again and went to the end of the road calling her. I walked round the block to the front of the house and back again. Scoured the house again. OH went looking over the overgrown garden again and I went to the end of the gravel road. I kept calling and eventually heard a miow - I caled about 6 times and every now and then a miow (I knew it was her - we know our own cats) but no sign of her. I waited a minute and called her again and nothing. I was getting really panicky even though I knew she was close. Eventually she crawled out from under a car on the driveway in the side street and I grabbed her - her tail was like a bog brush. We have locked the flap while Willow isn't herself. The only problem is, Kylie went out a while ago so I am tring to work out how to set it to "in only"

OO that must of been scarey especially in her present condition! :scared:
Dont know what your cat flap is like but I lock mine so the furthest from the inside is showing (the red lock) ;)
-
Thanks - I will have a look at it today. As it was, Klie came in so I just left it locked. Even though it was only 30 yards away, I'm sure she was lost and confused.
