Well i can safely say Pagan is in season! I had hoped to spay her before she had her first one but it looks like i am too late. So now im going to have to wait until she is done. Dont worry she cant get out, nor can any male cats get in. My only problem is that she is keeping my flat mates awake with her constant yowling! I think tonight il need to keep them both in my bedroom as they usually sleep in the hallway. No sleep for me tonight!! This behaviour will last for up to a week yeah? Poor little mite doesnt know what to do with herself!

Quite a few vets will still spay while in season....I'd give them a ring and see if you can book her in! Good Luck! ;)

When Kali came in season we got a tablet from the vets to break the cycle, cant remember the name but it worked within 48 hrs and she calmed down and came out of season so we could get her nuetered,as a lot of vets wont do it because it can cause abnormal bleeding

Think the tablet you are talking about is called ovarid (or something like that). I know breeders use it when queens come in season at the wrong time !!
Some vets will spay while in season, although it is best to wait till she has finished. The horrible noise should only last a few days hopefully.

Cats dont always come out of heat very quickly, i had one for calling for weeks and in the end she had to be done :tired:

Shes been a bit calmer today but still calling sometimes. My flat mate hasnt spent more than 10 mins in the flat so i hope its not because of her. Its not her fault, nor mine so i dont know what he expects me to do. Im going to call the vet on Tuesday to get her booked in. Or Monday if they are open. The vets i am at just now iv never been to. They charge £70 for a spay. Is that about average? Im going to call another one up the road and see how much it is there.

£70 is probably about right depending where you live

They look absolutely gorgeous and very contented. When Parrot came into season it only lasted for about three days, hopefully you are over the worst by now. My Vet will not spay until the season has finished - it is too risky.

I think she is definatly calming down. Its not constant now. Only if someone walks by her or she wakes up lol. So she should be out of it by the time she is spayed. Poor little girl will have her lovely fur shaved off lol!
