Title: Bad Cattery

We had a few days in Prague last week and so booked Harry and Charlie into our local Cattery.  Its the third time we've used them and while I'm not thrilled with them, at least the cats are safe.  However this time i am fuming.  My Dad picked Charlie and Harry up Saturday afternoon (as our flight back was an evening flight) and the cattery forgot to give him their bag of food etc.  Not a huge crisis but irritating as he had to dash back and get it.  Dad said the boys were gnawing his legs off when he got home and after looking in the bag yesterday and counting pouches i'm not surprised!  The boys weren't fed on the Saturday!  :censored:  Also Harry has come back from the cattery with fleas AGAIN!  Poor lad is crawling with them.  i went through his coat the day before and he was completely free of them (and hes white so its obvious!) and I frontlined him and hes STILL come back with bl**dy fleas!  Bear in mind that we live in an area where theres wooded areas and at least a dozen other cats and he hadn't got them here that cattery must be crawling!  Hes come back with fleas every time and we've put it down to one of those things, but I've had enough now.  OH is going in today to make a formal complaint and get our boarding fees refunded to pay for a vet appointment for Harry and treatment for the entire house.

Can anyone recommend a good Cattrey in Surrey/Hampshire?  For those that are local send me a PM and i'll give you the cattery name so you can avoid it!

That doesn't sound good at all  :hug:

Hope you manage to get a refund, and manage to get rid of the fleas too  :hug:

Awwww poor puss, i would demand a refuned especially as they didn't feed the cats.   >:(

I would also report it to FAB in the unlikely event they are members of it. How can a cattery forget to feed cats?  >:( :Crazy:

Have a look at the FAB list of boarding catteries - looks like theres quite a few listed for Surry and Hampshire http://fabcats.org/catteries/listed_catteries/index1.php#hampshire
