Title: Anyone read "Why We Love Cats" by Liz Jones?
Post by: Mark on April 05, 2009, 13:27:15 PM
I have to say, I don't like it at all - or some of the messages/Stories

One is by Anais Gallagher (Noel's daughter) about her Siamese bought from Harrods (Don'ty7 agree with shops selling pets)
Several mention Iams  >:(
One story is plain weird - the woman talked about digging her cat up ready to move and keeping her other dead cat in the freezer with her food until she moved home.
There were other stores that annoyed me - overall a horrible book.

I know it was to raise money for CHAT which is good but other than that, I hated it.

oooh, I don't like the sound of that and I nearly bought it as I read her column in the Sunday supplement which my sister passes on to me.

There was also one by Catherine Tate which I didn't like. I had also read it elsewhere so she probably syndicated the story  :tired:

It sounded made up. She said that that Battersea Cat & Dog home offered her a cat with a prolapsed rectum which she refused. She claims that they called her again and said they had a blind cat and then said "Not really, it's ginger"  :tired: - I don't believe the story tbh.
