Title: My New Persian Babies

A week ago today we traveled 160 miles to collect 3 Pedigree Persians from london. I had always wanted a Persian but to be getting 3 was just awesome. They are mother & son 5yr old Cleo and 3yr old Salem who are smoke grey/black long haired and 2yr old Clonkers who is an Exotic short haired Persian tabby. I already have 5 cats of my own 2 fostered for my step daughter while she is in uni halls untill june when she moves into a freinds house, and 2 on my adoption list so taking on all 3 was quite big lol

These were advertised on another forum on the classified. I was in contact with thier previous owners for 2 or more weeks before collecting them last week. We are keeping in contact with updates of how they are settling in. The journey back was a very long one as we got stuck in the middle of london for nearly 3 hours due to a protest outside the houses of parliment. I had taken a crate so the cats could travel together and be able to move around, Cleo slept most of the way and Clonkers kept lifting his head up now and then but Salem kept sitting up and looking round and even saw the queens residence lol  ;D

They have all settled nicely and Salem has even learnt who holds the can opener.  :rofl:
I still keep getting mixed up between Cleo and salem as they are almost identical.
Being a new persian owner i will be asking advice here and there.  ;D

He's a little ladies man lol  ;D He is quite taken by our perminent resident Amber and our foster cat Spice who belongs to my Step daughter Lucy.
First pic is Amber our perminent resident and the Pretty Tabby/white girl is our foster girl Spice.  ;D

I am very jealous of your lovely fluffs - you have TWO black ones too!!!!! :Luv:

 I lost my black persian boy in September, he was such a special boy.  Black persians are sooo beautiful.

Congrats on your new arrivals, I have 9 persians (currently  :Luv: , and have had several resuce persians) and 2 moggies, all I will say is I only started off with 2 persians......... LOL!

I have 5 rescue persians and was originally going to be quite happy with just 2 !

Smokey is lovely but a little rascal with it, he gets away with so much because of being so cute! LOL!

I've currently got three persians (shown in my signature).  Summer is 11, Smartie is 5 and Skye (aka the hooligan) is nearly 3.  I love them all and they are such characters  :Luv2: :Luv2:

AAww, they're ALL gorgeous, I want them all.  I was looking on this thread, as I thought Tasha might have a little persian in her, but she doesn't have the face shape or head.  Although she is a very large female (12lb) & really dense fur, I now think she's 98% pure moggie, lol.  Are persians quite big?  I've never had one, so not sure.  All I do know is that being owned by Tasha the Terminator/Terrible, is very entertaining, she's the neighbourhood thug  :-[  I often wonder when i'm feeling brave enough to check her claws, that one day i'm going to find titanium upgrades like Wolverine  :shocked:

They vary really, size wise - my Suzie RIP was huge (for a girl!) but my Ben is quite small (all his fur makes him look huge though LOL) Persians are usually quite 'chunky' though.  :)
