Do you have to put sunscreen on their noses? I have recently noticed Ted's nose has gone kinda brown, like a brown line at the top of his nose :-: Lyla has it too but her's has always been there.

Well sooty is white has pink nose the vets said he needs to wear suncream if he ever goes out, hopefuly the garden wil b catproofed soon
-
Thought of something else, what about the insides of their ears? I know Ted's, Macey's and Lyla's are pink inside.
I have never put sunscreen on them before it's just with Ted's nose changing colour.
Which sunscreen is suitable for them?
-
I do all those areas on mine with total sunblock
-
Pebbles was black and white and had pre-cancerous nasal scabs, so yes, I would definitely do them. Not sure about the inside of ears though, have never done them.
-
If i let mine out i'll have to do Penguin, her cute little pink nose is worth it though. :Luv2:
-
Ok so would it just be a baby sunscreen or something for kids?

I'd use a gentle, fragrance free, factor 50+
-
A baby sunblock should be fine and the insides of ears too, any area which the sun can get to, is sensitive and has little or no fur.
-
I use pet suncream, it absorbs quicker than baby ones.
-
Where to get that from Desley?
-
i got mine from the vets, as it was only 1p dearer than Smylee pets. I can't remember the name though, as I gave it to a friend last year when they adopted a pure white from me (none of last years cats needed it, but this years do!!)
