This was in our local paper yesterday alongside a photo of a reddy orange, short, fat creature with black spots and very large yellow eyes (so sorry picture won't scan and can't find link on internet)
"Must-have cheegy at Pet Show
A BIRMINGHAM pet show is planning to unveil the latest must-have exotic breed... the cheegy. The lightning-quick beast is a cross between a cheetah and a common cat and originates from South Africa. Capable of reaching speeds of 60mph in two-and-a-half seconds, the super-moggy is the latest addition to the celebrity must-have list and touched down in Birmingham today for its appearance at the NEC's Ultimate Pet Show, which runs from May 2-4. The animal's handler. Rex Barking, said: "I think the cheegy will be the star of the show. His unique looks turn heads."
