cats that love to sit in the fresh laundry (or even the diry laundry), and why is that they pick the one thing you've just done to make themselves feel comfortable. I have been ironing, as much as I have done is now neatly folded in the basket, with Jake perched comfortably on top. I just looked down and he's moved from the just ironed pile to the ready to be ironed pile, not the dark colours, he wouldn't stand out so well on dark colours but feels he looks good against white. Good job I love that cat.

I know exactly what you mean, every morning I lay out (read chuck) my clothes which I'm going to wear on the bed only to return after my morning bath to find Alfie comfortably sprawled out on them coating them liberally in white hair :)
Cheers

Mr T - who is 99% black cat - still manages to shed his white fur onto my dark clothes ......
Chloe being Tabby manages a rainbow on any colour

Jake has no white on him whatsoever, consequently he would never dream of sitting on anything dark where his glorious fur might go unnoticed. He is still ensconsed on my white blouse on top of the ironing pile. For a cat who doesn't do much, he has of late kept me somewhat entertained.

the answer to the problem of cats sitting on the ironing is not to do any - it's worked for me for years :)

Memphis lives on my washing, it's quite crazy.
I had a shower got all dressed, grabbed my nice clean black fleece jumper was just about to run out the front door and noticed that it was no longer black but was completely covered in white hair :-: I didn't have time to get changed so ended up going out with a black fleece covered in white. It looked a complete mess

getting wrinkled and hairy comes to all of us in time (so they tell me :'()

First I haven't done any ironing for months, the basket has sat in the corner piling up and he has totally ignored it. Then I got this idea 'do some ironing' that drew his attention so... he sat on the ironing. I did have four, but Jake is a solo cat, not keen on others at all, so much as I would want to have more, he would be unhappy.

What's ironing? ;D

Be grateful for your ignorance and don't ask questions, someone might answer you.
