Title: Not A Cat or Dog, But...

I had a betta fish for almost two years who I loved dearly. He would tease the cats by swimming back and forth in his tank in front of them and drive them nuts! He was a beautiful cobalt-blue color and I love him.
Unfortunately, he passed over the Rainbow Bridge into the Sunshine Lake sometime during last night. I'm still teary.
We wrapped his little body in a handkerchief and put him in a small box and laid him to rest next to my beloved wolfdog in the back yard.
I love all my pets dearly and so this is a sad day for me. I know I'll see him again one day.
His name was Poseidon. RIP, my finfull one.

Thanks you all. I get very attached to my pets and my Poseidon is loved just as much as the furry kids. I guess I sound crazy, but that's just how I feel about my pets.
Poseidon was a hoot!

Not silly at all - when my daughters two fish (Stogie and Spliff - dont ask) died we practically had state funerals for them - they were both such characters.  Spliff went first, and Stogie just pined away  :(
