He has just had me in absolute hysterics
Molly the doggie learnt from a young age how to get my attention. It involves her sitting rather randomly by the front door just staring at me. It started off as her signal that she needs the loo but then stretched to including wanting a bit of love/play/w.a.l.k.i.e.s etc.
Well Memphis has cottoned on and I just caught him doing. I couldn't believe it when I looked over there and saw the usual black and white mass, but had to do a double take after noticing a much smaller, and shorter black and white lump. He was just sat there looking all sad and lost, wanting a bit of attention.
On top of this I bought Molly a Nina Ottosson dog toy [ http://www.nina-ottosson.com/index_english.htm ] and I just cannot get Memphis to stop playing with it. He loves it and worked out how to do it instantly. Even though its got the hardest rating.
I am now even more convinced he's half border collie [or Molly is half cat  ]
So far he:
Plays fetch
Plays with kongs
Plays with interactive dog toys
Chews things
Has exceptional recall
Rolls over for tummy rubs
Runs off with leads
Tries to eat dog food and treats
I'm just waiting for him to start barking now

When will he be entering the trials then Den? :evillaugh:
Our Baz is quite dog like (and likes the dog :shify: :shy:) He was my first cat and only had the dog to interact with (animal wise) they would even play fight...hence Baz being too rough to play with the cats now! :-:

We currently have Clio aged 9 guarding the dogs bone on the rug - he wants it back so badly but she has warned him off in a very unladylike manner!
Our foster kittens always migrated to Breeze our deaf Border Collie and he personally bought up 20 of our own kittens - feral and domestic and about 60 foster cats and kittens - folks used to want kittens of us as they had dog savy insticnts like they already knwe they were in charge!
