Hello all! Well following on from this thread: http://www.chaptanservices.com/purrs/index.php?topic=1395.0 I am pleased to say that Sooty has made huge progress since early January, when I really thought it was time to let him go. I can't believe the difference that the antepsin has made, he has completely stopped vomiting, has stopped howling in the garden and is putting on weight. In Jan he was 3.24kg (up from 3.1 when he had his dental in October), and now he is 3.53kg. The vet says he can still feel the lump around his liver, but it isn't any bigger - my main concern was that I was naively thinking that the weight gain was a good thing when in actual fact it was the lump growing or a fluid build up. So the great news is that it is neither of those things, it is just a good sign that he is now eating well and getting all the nutrient from his food.
So all in all, a big :wow: from me!

Absolutely delighted to hear this news. Have had so much bad news on this site recently, about time for news like this. Soft headbutts, kisses and a gentle hug to Sooty. :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:
So very pleased for you too. Thomas still fondly remembers your efforts on behalf of his rear legs and sends his best to you and of course Sooty. He is doing very well on very low dose of metacam.
