We are trying to economise with the cats - note I say trying  :evillaugh: and have decided to give this a try - 43 plus the outdoor mobs its really only 6 meals at a push with their wet.  Its about £15.00 for a 15 kg bad so I ordered one for the Clan Cats - dogs also got a new bag of food to try to

Ingreidients listed below

A very popular, complete dry cat food used by catteries, breeders and pet owners. Based on the recipe of a leading brand.

TYPICAL ANALYSIS   
Protein 30%
Oil 14%
Fibre 2.5%
Ash 6.25%
 
Vitamin A 20,000iu/kg
Vitamin D3 1,500iu/kg
Vitamin E 200iu/kg
Copper (as Cupric Sulphate) 15mg/kg
 

INGREDIENTS
Wheat, Chicken Meat Meal, Prairie Meal, Dehulled Soya Bean Meal, Chicken Fat, Chicken Liver, Yeast, Unmolassed Beet Pulp, Soya Oil, Salt, Taurine, EC permitted natural anti-oxidants, Mixed Tocopherols, Vitamin C and Rosemary Extract
 
Now we just hope they like it :shocked: :-:

Doesn't sound very good to me with the main ingredient being wheat and also another 2 types of grain in it -  :scared:

It doesn't seem to have any omega 3 & 6 in it.

I can understand the need for economy with so many mouths to feed though.

mark we like to think of it as a choice of food currently we feed RC, Hills, Purina, james wellbeloved and sometimes they look at the bowl and say not again - currently we serve 26 types of the above foods so decided to have a look at a cheaper option

I'm sure they will like it for one meal :shocked:
