Smartie has got the runs tonight ! He hardly ever gets them and i have no idea why he has now -same food , only been in the garden for a short while -nothing in there to upset them and he spends most of the day in his bed !
He really doesn''t need anything else , poor boy .
His asthma has started up and he hasnt had it for a couple of years - he has heart problems and herpes disease ( snotty nose and runny eye) , now a runny bum .
I have given him some Lacto B tonight so hope this sorts it out .
It seems there are lots of cats with this at the moment ??

Yes but for one at least there is a known problem......Franta and the powerful abs, confirmed by his vet.
I hope Smartie will recover from this quick, my vet told me today about 48 hrs for the lacto B to start working

Thanks Gill - unfortunately he wont eat weetabix !
He will only eat a small amount of Whiskers supermeat -but he licks it to death instead of just eating it -so have mixed it in well and he has had most of it tonight .
Between his tablets and all mine -its a wonder we aren''t rattling !!

You know, I've noticed with my lot that it often happens this time of year. Several of mine have just gone through a couple of days of the runs and then it just suddenly cleared up. :Dont know:
-
Well, Winston had it for for 2 weeks end of Jan , Sophie had it a couple of days -then we have had a break .
Tonight Smartie has started !?
-
Maybe the warmer weather has activated the bugs in the soil :shify: :shify:

Hope Smartie is now solid again?
-
Well its definately better thankyou - still on the Lacto B for another day or 2 though to be on the safe side .
