Title: Holidays
Post by: kp76 on March 04, 2009, 23:11:31 PM
Hello, I'm off on holiday at the end of March for a week. My parents are going to be looking after storm & alfie at their house, which is an hours drive away. With storm having a stress related urinary infection less than a month ago i'm worried she won't cope well with the change in environment well. Does anyone have any suggestions how I can make things less stressful both for the trip to my parents & their stay. Thanks.

I'd take some Feliway either a plug in or a spray. Also something with your scent on as well.

I'm sure someone else will be along soon with some more ideas.

I agree -
Although Feliway takes about 4wks to kick in so it might be best to start using it now and then take it to your parents
You can buy if off line at UKVETS

I have a Feliway diffused i'm going to take to my parents a week before I take them to stay. I'm considering getting a spray too so I can use it on their bedding etc.
I never thought about something that smells of me.
Would it be a good idea for me to stay at my parents for a day or so before I go on holiday or is it not nesscessary?

If it were me I'd stay and make sure they are settled but as to whether its necessary or not I don't know
