Title: Price of milbemax wormers
Post by: zoe (tiggy + pipins mum) on March 02, 2009, 17:23:15 PM
I was going to order drontal of the internet but then decided i may have problems getting the cats to take em so i popped in the vets to get milbemax i only needed 3 as tiggy was wormed at the vets not that long ago, I was shocked that they are £4.98 each,
Anybody else pay this much for them?

I reckon that must be about right.
I got some flea stuff (advantage pack of 4) Smarties asthmas tablets ( used to be around £3) and 1 Milbemax tablet and it came to nearly £27 !

There is a long-term offer right now, 4 for the price of 3 so I paid about £13 for 4

I think my milbemax was only about 3.50 :shify: i need to get some more next time i'm up there so i'll double check.

(If i'm right it'll be the first time ever i've found my vets to have a good price on something )

maybe me vets isnt that over expensive then after all its just the first time ive paid for them seperatly because normally when i get them i eithier have a bill too pay or something else too pay for so i never realised how much they were, Only when sooty was a kitten i remember paying about £3 but that would of been for a kitten one

We pay £150 a quarter for Millibex and Drontal for our mob and the outside bowls get a drontal each crushed in the wet food - the dogs tablets are 3 different prices as they all weigh in different ranges!

Millibex our vets get for us come in packets of 50 and they order them in for us a bit like our Program injections - we say we need whatever amount of 40 and 80 per visit - they are slowly coming round to the Clan cats needs!
