How long does it take for the male hormone levels to settle down after neutering. Ben ( 9 months old) was done at the end of December but he seems to be getting more feisty by he day. He is constantly wrestling with the two other older cats, both male. They are twice his size and weight but he won't back down - he's quite fearless! I'm just letting them get on with it as long as no-one is getting hurt but it sounds terrible at times! I suspect that he is just getting into his stride and world dominance can't be far off!

i would have thought that they would have gone down by now but he sounds like he is just play fighting cos he is still a kitten and learning.

Sounds like he wants to be top cat

With one of my lads it took him nigh on 10 weeks or so to settle and he still at times thinks he is a ladies man. It could be that you just have a cat that thinks he is invincible of course!
