Post by: ClaireR on February 21, 2009, 13:47:31 PM: My beautiful gorgeous boy died on 12th February 2009 aged 4 years old (a few weeks off being 5).

He was taken from us after fighting illness for the last 4 weeks and being the bravest and strongest boy ever. He just couldn't fight it anymore and decided it was his time to go.

He has been my best friend and constant companion for the last 5 years and he is missed every minute of every day.

He was the most lovable character I have ever met and always knew what to do to make me smile.

I miss his eyes.
I miss his smell.
I miss his furry tummy.
I miss his head butts.
I miss his purrs.
I miss our special night time cuddles.
I just miss everthing about him.

He will never be forgotten. He truely was the best cat in the world.

Take care at the bridge Mr Garcia. Be happy and healed.

I have always loved Garica and he has been one when i have been doing the calendars etc that i always stop and admire. He is and always will be a gorgeous lovely lad.

He will always be with you in your heart, he will always be there in sprit to watch over you and listen and one day you will be with him again.

Rest easy sweet Lad. Give all our babes at the bridge a headbutt and tell my Gimmo to keep his trousers tidy!

I know what you mean about the smell, I used to lie in bed with Fang next to me at my pillow just breathing in his smell and thinking how much I would miss it. Beed 3 years now and I still think of him fondly in that way... :hug:

Post by: ClaireR on May 12, 2009, 12:59:24 PM: I saw a rainbow for the first time in years over the weekend and I knew it was Garcia. It seemed like it was coming from our house. It has taken him 10 weeks but he has finally arrived safely at the Bridge. He always did things his way.

I still miss him so much even after nearly 3 months. Coming home every night it still not the same without him.

I haven't been on Purrs much recently as it reminds me of him too much for some reason, but I am still thinking of you all!

P.S I am going to enter some of his funniest pics in the LOL cat comp as a tribute. He always managed to make me laugh!

He is still the best cat in the world.

Miss you my baby Garcia. Play hard at the bridge today and make sure you have your Friday tuna treat. Sam & Purdy will have theirs in your honour today.
