Meet Smokey my gorgeous new foster :Luv:
She is approx 11 years old and rather tubby :evillaugh:
She loves a fuss and is lying in her bed with one eye on my two as I type

Will try and get some more pics tomorrow
-
Aww - she does look a bit tubby in that pic, can't wait to see a clearer pic of her (my pure black is sat having fusses on my knee at the mo!!)
-
She's got a gorgeous shiny coat!
Sarah x
-
Smokey is stunning , getting out the red currant ;D
-
she reminded me of my beautiful fang a bit - was sorry to hand her over to Ellie's capable hands.
She's a lovely tempered cat who kept following OH around - I told him it was 'cos he was like her previous owner (she lived in a flat with an old man who died and was handed over to me by the police last week).
-
She is gorgeous and so friendly bless her :Luv:
Desley she is TUBBY lol I will try and get a body pic of her later :evillaugh:

I just love her ;D
-
She's not Tubby ... she's cuddly :Luv: :Luv:
-
I think tubby is a bit of an understatement for her Ellie!! What are the marks on her belly in the second pic? She does look happy and friendly though
-
She's certainly well rounded lol! :-) All the more to cuddle with a jelly belly like that lol.
-
She's beautiful, just want to hug her !
-
Hi Desley the marks are where the fur splits and you can she her flesh :-:
She must have thinner fur under there or it's her belly pushing through :evillaugh:
-
love cats that spend their time while with fosters lying about.
-
They normally do have thinner fur on their belly. Why is she in your care Ellie?
-
She is lovely but definitely rotund
-
awwwww shes beautiful

How's she settling down with your two now Ellie?
-
Hi Angie not very well I'm afraid
Mupps is desperate to be friends but as soon as she thinks one of mine are around she growls, spits and claws the door to get to them. Rascal is petrified of her.
She is a beautiful cat, so friendly with humans and just loves a cuddle and purrs for England lol.
She has lost some weight and with humans is the most placid cat you have ever met. Pete has a shadow wherever he goes.
-
Oh dear, thats a pity. It's going to cause havoc for her to come here with my lot.
Anyone out there want a people-friendly 10 Year old tubby ? :shy:
It definately looks like she needs to be an only cat.
-
I would say she does poor old Mupps can't figure her out :(
Rascal is sporting a sore nose bless her so I have to keep them well away from eachother
Might have to sleep in the spare room again as she just howls for attention bless her
-
Hi everyone Smokey has gone back to Angie's :(
I shall now wait to see how Rascal is but I think I will have to think seriously about fostering again.
-
To let you all know Smokey has settled down well but is stuck in a spare room on her won most of the time.
So if anyone knows of a potential new home for this lovely lady please get in touch. Even a foster home close to coventry where she can be an only cat and get the human company she craves while a permanent home is found.
-
Hi Angie
Glad she has settled down now. I think the problem was Muppet camping outside her room, he just wanted to be friends lol. She adores humans and will be a wonderful lapcat :Luv:
Have put lots of feelers out here but still no luck :(
-
Hi Ellie
Just wanted to say I experienced the same thing with my recent fostering. A beautiful little female that was absolutely fine with me and so loving. Yet put her within 10ft of Sam and she chased him out of every room in the house until he had to literally find all manner of hidey holes from her - sometimes facing the wall :( He only wanted to be friends with her too which was a shame. I tried to keep her in my spare room but she unravelled my carpet. I was juggling them about so they had their own space which was a nightmare and I had to reconsider fostering. He still is a bit jumpy and she was rehomed weeks ago now!
-
she is adorable
-
Just bumping this up as we have no enquries for his beautiful cat who is currently sitting in my lap purring away.
Its time she had her own lap to purr in!
-
Aww, fingers crossed you find somewhere for her soon Angie.
-
not mone enquiry for her yet poor thing.
-
Poor Smokey.
-
Poor old smokie - 11 years old and still waiting for a home in Coventry!
Someone must be looking for a lapcat !!!
-
What are the marks on her belly in the second pic?
Stretch marks perhaps?? ;D
-
(http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w272/petsearch_coventry/HPIM0002.jpg)
stretch marks indeed! :evillaugh:
-
Poor gorgeous Smokey, I was hoping she had a home by now
-
She is lovely, just a shame she is waiting so long.
-
Smokie was in the paper yesterday and today I dropped her off at her new home!
She's coming back in a couple of weeks while her new human goes on holiday - so that makes it easier for me to part with her after all this time.
Her new human laughed when she saw her how round she was and said they were a match made in heaven.
I'm hoping the 'trial' will prove how good a match they are.
Missing her but had an 'urgent' phone call about two kittens that need to be picked up today so it looks like I still haven't got my study back!
Good luck to Smokie and Val.

Great news :yayyy:
