Title: Is there such a thing as Frontline for kittens?
Post by: scattycat on February 16, 2009, 13:48:14 PM
Our kitty is booked in at the end of the month to be spayed (as well as chipped and have some bloods done to see if she can have the FelV injection), but wondered what we do for flea treatment?

When we took her from the centre they did put a spot on on her, but couldnt see what one it was. We use Frontline for our boys, and wondered can we use the 'small cat' pipette on her or is there a kitten version?

I know the next question that I'll be asked of ... 'how much does she weigh' ... and I dont know, obviously the vets know, just I'd like to go there and not seem thick  ;D

The vets gave me a frontline spray for Indy when he was a kitten... only he hated the spray so I sprayed the brush then groomed him

Don't know about frontline but Advantage is suitable for kittens over the age of 8 weeks.  I think it's just a case of getting the dosage right.
