:mad2: :mad2: :mad2:
3 weeks ago i ordered food, litter and a small cat tree, i got the wrong cat tree (which was mislabelled by them). There was also a second order for a larger tree, after explaining i didnt want another big one being sent out  i managed to get them to collect 9 days ago. Having not heard anything about the returns being received by them and the right item being sent to me per my email and also specified on the returns slip i contacted them again.
Today i have an email saying would i like a refund :brick: :brick: no i just want my bloody cat tree.
Iv sent them a rather rude email starting off "oh my god you make me want to smack my head on a wall" not very mature but i feel abit better now :evillaugh: :evillaugh:
Im sure if i hadnt contacted them they would have kept my money and i would still be here without £20 worth of goods >:(
Im now on a mission to find the products from an alternative source because every order is being messed up and i cant take much more hassle from them. Id rather pay more elsewhere and get what i want without weeks of communicating with idiots.

I am still waiting for a response on how to send the automatic feeder back, albeit it doesn't matter now because I managed to get it to work. It is so frustrating

Look what I found! A chance for you to say EXACTLY what you think ...... :naughty:
-
I know how you feel MM - that is why I am not ordering from them any more - I am ordering from other places now and the service and packaging is heaven compared to zooplus - I think they must be losing a lot of custom at the moment.
-
I recently made my first and last order with zooplus, I ordered a new litter tray some of the dry cleaning powder and some pate type food. The tray was missing a clip, the powder went everywhere half the food was unuseable due to being damaged. I waited over a week for a reply and finally got one Monday and they ended getting a cyber earful and a half as the food was for Henry was most sadly gone by then.
-
I've never had a problem with things not turning up but like so many others the packaging usually leaves a lot to be desired - If I could get my big bags of rc somewhere else I probably would
-
We use Zooplus and have had a couple of wrong things but all have been replaced or refunded I know I shouldn't but also try pet Planet and Pet Supermarket both UK based but a bit more expensive on some things and not the food choice of Zooplus - both are UK based
I think the best one was we left the parcel with your neighbour oh really wehich one I asked the one next door to your house at number 9 - I pointed out we have no close neighbours exceopt for the ones several fields away and our houses only have names are are all detached - new order was sent out and received 3 days later!

Its not just Purrs people having problems ........

Pet Planet are really good. I've ordered a few things from them including Migs rabbit hutch and had no problems with them.
-
Iv used pet plant and k9 capers before and had no probs, they just dont stock all of what i want :(

Not one I use - I just Googled "problems with ZooplusUK and up it popped. Didnt post another one cos I recognised someone ..... :-[
-
ooh thanks - its the 10kg of light 40 - its about £45
-
Heres what i got so far for RC Light 40 10kg
£43.05 pet planet
£40.79 pet supermarket but they charge p+p
£40.98 Vio vet free p+p on orders over £60
£38.99 bowmeows free p+p on orders over £30
Whats the difference between light 40 and light 38? The 38 popped up quite alot but wasnt on the cheapest sites
-
Oh dear. Sounds like you need a
I must admit, the only real problems I've had with zooplus is the packaging. I did have something not turn up last time, but I know that was parceforce losing it and not zooplus (and zooplus did refund, although I would have preferred them to send it out again).
I cant' really shop elsewhere as nowhere else stocks everything that I buy from zooplus. It's hard enough being in for one delivery - it would be a nightmare if I ordered stuff from several different places. So for now I will be sticking with zooplus, but they do seem to be "experiencing problems" :shify: at the moment, and I'm sure they will lose a lot of custom.
-
I dont believe it :faint: :faint: :faint:
Thank you very much for your email.
We are sorry for the inconvenience that might have been caused.
We ask you kindly to confirm whether we should arrange the replacement or refund.
With kindest regards,
Your Service-Team
"Your service team" a joke in its self.
Susanne it used to just be packaging and dented goods, the amount of times i order that was starting to be enough, the last few orders have had incorrect items and its this thats doing my head in because it involves multiple emails to their "service" team, they dont understand english sentences and pee me off something chronic when they repeatedly ask the same question. This is the 4th request of mine to get the right item and i still dont know if thats enough for the idiots to grasp it. :tired:
Im looking into other litter and have noticed zooplus have put golden grey up to £10.99, it was £8.99 last week!
-
If they want to put themselves out of business they're going about it the right way :(
That's a heck of a price hike on the golden grey >:(
-
Yep, so if i can find an alternative i dont mind paying a little more for 500% better service, up their bums i say, i think there should be a revolt :evillaugh:
-
zooplus themselves have a forum. or did have. might take a look.

I dont think they would like what we have to say

Looks like the forum isn't there any more. Wonder why :shify:
-
 what a surprise

ooh thanks mm - never heard of bowmeows but will have a look! never heard of light 38 either, I hope they aren't changing the formula Star has done really well on light 40 from 5.9kg to 5.2kg
-
Im glad it works for Star ;D i zoomed in on a few pics of light 38 and it says 40 on the bag! So more likely some human error with typing than a formula change.
My saga continues, i have got a despatch email but for the wrong tree :brick: :brick: :brick: they have sent a replacement for the second order i placed not the first one :sigh: :sigh:
Im not emailling them again, if the wrong tree turns up then i'd be in profit £11 but have a tree thats too big for the allocated space so il be back to square one and have a whole new returns process to go through yet again :Applause: :Applause:
-
Noticing that the prices are going up alot too
Golden grey was £8.99 now £10.99
Kitekat was £4.99 now £5.90
Applaws 156g was 99p now £1.09
Yarrah was £6.39 now £6.90
And bozita wow thats gone up since i last bought some, now 90p a carton, was 65p
So they are upping prices but giving worse service >:(
-
Zooplus are quite terrible :innocent: I have had two problem orders and yes I understand what you are saying MM - customer service is terrible! I really feel like not bothering with them anymore but they have such a good range - its the only thing they have going for them!
Our cats love some of the bizarre foreign treats - Doc broke into a whole bag of malt treat things I forgot were in the bottom of the last (shockingly well packaged for a change!) box :tired: no hairballs for him then :evillaugh:
-
Time they were re-branded ......... :naughty:
-
:evillaugh: :evillaugh: :evillaugh:
minus - half your items
plus - one mangled piece of cardboard that used to be box :evillaugh:
One of the big problems I had with them was around Oct 08 when I placed an order 4 weeks before we moved house and it didn't make it on time - I tried to get the address changed but as usual they didn't respond until it was too late. I sent them the new address at least twice.
They then sent me that sorry package they sent alot of people - to the OLD address! :tired:
-
I ordered today and have already been told parcel has been despatched, which is very good
the condition it arrives in, and what it contains, may yet be another story
-
Despite their good range im making a valiant attempt at finding stuff elsewhere, especially as prices are going up in £2 jumps. The only way you get to these people is through their profits, people power will get action :duel: :duel: :duel:

They always despatch quickly, they just happen to use thin boxes, one strip of tape and give you the wrong items (this seems to be a warehouse problem as the stickers on the stuff are always wrong and the packers cant put 2 and 2 togther when sticker says applaws but is on a tin of yarrah  )
-
I have never shopped with them as over the last year i have heard all about what you guys have mentioned, so it put me off way back then. I find if you contact other suppliers they are sometimes happy to order in and start stocking things you want, esp if you are likely to keep re ordering.
-
latest parcel from Zooplus just delivered, sopping wet and with large hole in top
all the contents were there, with just one of sheet of that stuff with the air pockets - one sheet for 60 tins of cat food!!!
the wetness is proving very interesting to the cats though - they love empty cardboard boxes, but this one is commanding more attention than usual ;D
-
I am sorry peeps cos I havent done anything about this yet due to Franta but I promise that events allowing I will get onto them for Purrs memebers and all the added problema are just more fuel for the fire.

My tree has arrived and....

I don't think I will risk ordering from them any more. My boxes are always flimsy although so far nothing damaged.
