It's currently -12.5C outside here still (and was colder overnight!) and Bilbo and Pinball are SOOOOO happy! I have never actually seen them so excited before, Pinball is speeding and bouncing round the stud run like he's possessed (he's only just turned 11 months so it's his first winter) and Bilbo is sitting on his scratchpost looking a very happy boy and I have no doubt you can hear their very loud purrs from wherever you are!

Pinball's fave part of the run at the moment is his ice bed where Dave heaped in a huge pile of snow the other day for them and it's now frozen solid and Pinball has decided it's a brilliant bed.

Even the 6 inches of insulation in all the walls, floor and roof of their house can't cope with these temps though and their water bowl is freezing solid so have to go out every couple of hours to defrost the bowl in hot water and put new water out for them and they can only have a teeny bit of wet food at a time as it's just freezing bless them.

Lol you might be able to see in that pic he's next to the door of the run and I wouldn't take him out into the garden to play in the snow so he spent ages doing Princess Diana eyes at me trying to make me feel guilty about it!

Glad you liked the pics of them, they are both absolute sweethearts (unless you make them come inside when it's cold then they are little  :censored: until you let them back out again) although I do wish they would understand that I am not designed for the kind of temperatures they are and that's why I sound funny when I try and speak to them through chattering teeth lol!

Pinball is *still* bouncing and running around bless him  :evillaugh:  Good job I love them as I'm having to boil the kettle every 2 hours to go out and melt their water bowl as it's still subzero temps here!

He is out! I dragged them both in earlier and they went potty and screamed by the door so I gave up and put them back out  :tired: I think I've faced up to the reality that they love the cold more than me lol.

I have a few photos of mine in the snow somewhere in general cat chat but they aren't as fluffy as your two!

We need photos of the girls now :)

Aw bless - nice to see them enjoying themselves.  They look as though they are saying "what d'you mean it's cold, you wimp?".  Can't believe how much Pinball has grown  :Luv:

It is scary how he's suddenly turned into a very grown up looking boy even though he's only 11 months old. I found some pics of him from a few months go and it doesn't look like the same cat! He still sounds and acts exactly the same as the last time you saw him though  :evillaugh:
