Title: getting pooka sorted out!

im just needing some advice. well, my cat pooka.shes not dressed yet.and im having to get her dressed for when i eventualy let her outside.

but i have one problem. when i got pooka the person i got her from sed she was about 9/10 weeks old. and they lied.i knew they did because she was too small and ill to be that age.

so...i dont actualy know how old she realy is. so what age is it ok to get her neutered? could the vet find out how old she realy is? i think shes about 6 months old maybe 7?

just need some general advice ;)

I dont know what age they come into heat but thought it was around then at latest, so if she comes into heat she is definately old enough.

i just want to be organised for when i do eventualy let her outside :)

Post by: Desley (booktigger) on February 03, 2009, 07:58:00 AM: Book her in asap, it is better for her health to be neutered before she comes into heat, as it dramatically reduces the risk of her developing mammary cancer later in life, and it is better for her mental health too. Plus, females are very determined to get out while in heat.
