Title: Indoor Kitty Families
Post by: Indys Mamma on February 02, 2009, 10:11:29 AM
I am too devoted to my babies... last night I left a tray outside, brought in this morning for them to play with snow...

Indy decided it was icky and he was *not* going to put his paws in it... Misha decided it was food and ate it but kept snoting and sneezing

anyone else do mad things like that for indoor kitties?

Last time it snowed I went outside [in just shorts and t-shirt  :scared:], made huge snowball. Then brought it in and gave it to Memph  :Luv: He ignored it!

I hard packed a snowball for them today and they were rolling it around the kitchen, only they kept sucking their paws to warm them up again  :evillaugh:

they don't understand why it is cold, bless

I clipped them into their rarely used harnesses and we hopped out to the garden half hour ago.  Nova loved the snow but then they both started chewing all the dead plant life so brought them back in, currently experiencing the zoomies now!      :evillaugh:

I can often be found walking along the seafront with a plastic bag full of bits of things the cats may like to sniff and play with. Bird feathers, seaweed, bottle tops, driftwood, pebbles. I saw a friend once and he asked what I was doing and he thought I was mad. I also bring them things back when I go up to the horse rescue place where I volunteer.

I must say half the time they give it a quick sniff and wander off so not sure if I'm wasting my time.
