this advert has been running for at least 6 months now... is in a well known Northern free ads paper...
'female kitten urgently wanted...
female kitten urgently wanted, due to recent loss of one, must be short haired, grey and white only, (not black and white), for loving home, must be free. Tel. #########'
if they can't afford a donation for a cat then can they afford a cat? and talk about exact requirements!

Superficial? Them? Never! ;)

When I lost one of my cats I went on a cat hunt to find one exacty like her, with no luck tho. Maybe these people just want one the same as they had.
-
they might have more luck if they were willing to pay even a donation, in 6 months of searching I am sure they could have saved up enough for a donation to a rescue for a cat with full jabs and spaying
-
I thought paying bsb was not good?
I have never paid for any of my cats and i love em more than anything. So I dont think paying is a gesture of love, or how much they are going to be loved shall I say.

it isn't the fact that she wants it free that bugs me, both my cats were free and I adore them... it's the fac that they have been asking for 6 months every week with a slightly different ad including weeping children, traumatised children.... if you were that desperate then surely you would be trying rescue... I actually rang her one time as our local CP had a grey + white female kitten and I wanted to pass message on, thins is when I was looking for a friend for Indy, before I got Misha and she told me I 'could s*d off, she wasn't paying good money for a rat that'd probably die'
I did actually have that as an edit on first post but hit preview not save :-[
and there she is still begging for a cat she doesn't seem to want :-:

Hum different view of it now.

I can never understand why even after being told people still either buy from a friend or try and get a cat free ive told someone not to buy a friends kitten before now simply cause i said there are plenty of kittens waiting for homes from rescues that most of the time are either fully vaccinated or you get a voucher and she said well i dont know where that cats from it could have anything how stupid is that and i cant understand why people have exact requirements for their ideal pet i mean i love dalmation dogs but if i ever decide to get a dog im not gonna go thats not a dalmation im not having it
-
some people are just stupid.
and with an attitude like that it makes me suspicious about what the plans for the cat would be, and how well it'd be looked after.
that being the case, maybe it's better that she's still advertising, rather than mistreating an animal.
