Title: Zooplus Order - no damage!!!!
Post by: Liz on January 30, 2009, 20:45:16 PM
Please see below order from Zooplus consisting of 260 tins of catfood and 50kgs of biscuits - this will feed the Clan till early March - the dogs have to make do with a bag of Wag this month till the Royal Canin arrives next week!!!!!

This was delivered today by Royal Mail delivery folks - our driver put it all in the garage for me as I was out - this involves him climbing the fence in the paddock - (we have electric gates) and walking to the garage where he borrows our trolley thing then he puts all the boxes on the trolley - this was 2 trips today in the pouring rain.

Thisw nice man gets a Christmas bonus from us he is fantastic and since we stopped using DHL we have had only the odd tin dented and with the number we order don't have any issues with it.

Bearing in mind that we live in an isolated place and some companies think we live in the Highlands and Islands!

So lets here it for a nice parcel from Zooplus!

We should do a poll on who uses the post office and who uses DHL then see where all the damage is!!!!!

You didn't have any cat litter though - that seems to be the worst culprit.  Too heavy for the boxes.

50kgs of cat biscuits in the tall box Suzanne - we have had litter before but it usually comes in a box with green strapping on it

yup - green strapping.  You can see in the pics I posted how (in)effective that is!  ;D

Mosi does love playing with green snakey, mind!

I always plump for GWS and the Post Office and have always had perfect deliveries.  The one time I tried DHL, the box was shattered to pieces and the contents were damaged.
